Back in the day We would screed in the morning Then lay boards and tile in the afternoon No flex adhesive back then
-
Yeah Dave I fully intended using flo screed as it great for tiles and great to let someone else do it Nearly 62 now 😁 The problem with flow seams to be it getting under the insulation I think the trick would be to let the screeding company do the membrane and taping up
-
Yes ready mix 30 years ago I always had a mixer pump Mix it up then pump it in
-
14 ton down today another 14 tomorrow and the screed out of the way I going to bring a company in to do a flow screed But I’ve been on a couple of job’s recently where they have lifted I went with what I know in the end Shame really as I don’t bother putting matting down with flow screed Unless it’s specified

It can So can board finish
-
and goes further
-
I used board finish for 20 years before multi finish came in You can’t tell the difference once finished Multi is creamier
-
Multi finish I don’t even know why they make board finish I send it back if they deliver to me
-
100% It also gives you a chance to pack out any imperfections I used a rough cut 4x1 Four quid for a 4.8 length

Normally I’d agree interest rates rising House prices falling But this time is different Rents are rocketing and private landlords are offloading there properties So it would depend on you getting somewhere to rent at a reasonable price There still a high demand for plots

Lots of free money Those fools couldn’t give it away fast enough Clapping to support NHS workers was laughable As was the 2% pay rise offered to them afterwards There never should have been a lockdown I didn’t take a penny As I didn’t have anytime off Neither did my wife and daughter Who where seconded by the NHS for 18 months No time off no holidays At least they got a round of applause each Thursday

Bit late now But if you do anymore the studs are better free standing rather than all that timber fixed to the wall rockwool slabs are best for sound insulation But you will have more sound transfer through the timber which ever you decide to use

There’s no standard sizes now everything is made to order at no extra cost
