We have a course of Foamglass Perinsul around our entire perimeter to eliminate cold bridging between the below DPC blockwork and the TF wall / floor slab.

The most elegant solution is, IMHO, SageGlass. Expensive but it works brilliantly.

Funnily enough, a couple of weeks ago I ventured as far north as I've done in probably 20 years or more (to collect a new caravan from Sheffield as it happens). Never seen so many speed cameras, particularly average speed cameras, on A-roads - we only get those on motorway roadworks down here. Yes, we're happy. There are those who doubt the performance claims for multi-foil products (ours is Actis), and we've not lived in properties with other insulation for comparison, but it does what we expected. Easy and (importantly for us) very clean to install.
