Urinals - anyone ever considered them?
newhome replied to Vijay's topic in Bathrooms, Ensuites & Wetrooms
They are horrible. Another thing to clean and there must be a reason that men’s public toilets always smell disgusting compared to women’s loos. It has to be down to the urinals or the inability of men to use them without spraying somewhere it shouldn’t go surely? Yuk. As an aside men’s loos are very different it seems. According to the guys I work with no one talks in there. Ladies however will often chat in the loos, do their hair, lippy, whatever. The bad thing is that ladies always have to bloody queue for the loo at busy events. -
Mid grey looks the best at present as you say. Bit of a change from white ?

Another week comes to an end

I have a ladder phobia too but did manage to overcome it once so that I could go up and ensure that I liked the bathroom layouts. Going up wasn’t as bad as I thought but it took me an age to pluck up the courage to go down. Did manage it eventually. -
Innocent!!! Equally guilty you mean. The 2 of you are as bad as each other!!

You two are mental!! ?

I never get limescale at home. It never even registers on those testing kits you get when buying a dishwasher. Mine is 45 according to that site tho.

That’s a boys’ toy not a light girlie one! Bet it weighs twice as much as the one I bought!

I’ve got one and a cordless mower. I couldn’t start the bloody petrol things on my own and struggled to lift them so I replaced with these. They are both light and easy to use. Slide the battery in and press the button. Slide the battery out when finished or need to swap it over. It’s useful if you have 2 batteries for when one runs out. This duo comes with 2 but you may want to buy a second battery if you just buy a strimmer. It doesn’t cut through really tough shrubs etc but I imagine that’s the way with most general purpose strimmers tbh. It’s a grass / weed strimmer not a brush cutter. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Qualcast-Cordless-Lawnmower-Grass-Trimmer/dp/B01CTUMJAM

What is it with blokes? Work hard to get the right outcome and feck it up at the final hurdle. Use the silver. Put all thoughts out of your mind re introducing a new variable / colour and autonomously deciding that it’s the way forward. Take the small victory, be happy with the silver that looks absolutely fine, and keep quiet about it being a victory or you’ll never hear the end of it! You know it makes sense! Trust me on this one!!

Welcome! Be lovely to see some photos of your progress. Looks like a lovely spot.

I wanted hand sprays for the baths too but according to hubby they weren’t necessary so not fitted (since when did he clean the damn baths anyway ...). Then we went to a hotel that had one and he said what a good idea they were. I could have coshed him over the head with it!

Bribe the son and seal the deal!

Friends with benefits it is then. No commitment required ?

You missed the point above. @pocster wanted a threesome. Maybe they have plans to include you in their ménage à trois ? ???

I love the rainfall for showering, just would never want to lose the hand spray if I could only have one or the other.

Is that cos cleaning the shower is wimmin’s work? ?

Help with kitchen renovation/ 1st house.

That's looking great, well done! And well done @Onoff too!! -
Which is why you need a handset as well as the rainfall affair. I would never have a shower that only had the rainfall out of choice not least because the handset is useful for rinsing the shower after cleaning as well as showering.

Has she made any comment yet or are you still not talking?
