Is that meant to be kWh. (some places have different rated depend on the power (the kW) that can be supplied)
-
How do the numbers change if you add 0.5p to the kWh price every year.
-
Well you can, but I thought this was about making an easy job difficult and messy,

Say you have 10 points to mark out, then ten tubes. All ten tubes are tied together at your datum point, then the other end of each tube is were you want your level. Probably cheaper to by a cheap laser level.

How does Carbon Dioxide increase global temperatures?
SteamyTea replied to SteamyTea's topic in Boffin's Corner
Yes, I am interested in the first bit here, then when that is sorted, maybe the second bit. I think I may call up someone I know at a university and ask if they know the answer. Though when I asked her 15 years ago, she waved her hands and said 'I hate degrees of freedom'. ps I have just left the clever chemist a message, see if she gets back to me. -

@epsilonGreedy Does that video explain, in simple terms, what the mechanism is that causes complex gas molecules to trap radiation. If not, it is just not answering the question I asked. -
There were rules about having 200mm between the ridge and the sides, 100mm on the bottom edge. Not sure if it was different for roof integrated.

There may be problems with the IP of the original drawings, Architects like to keep ownership of that I think.

If they are boards that are at 90° to the platform, then no.

Yes I only use mine to paint the outside of the house every 5 years or so. 2 day job with a scaffold tower (weather permitting, took nearly 2 months this year). Over a week if up a ladder, and the job is crap.
-
I got this one with the extension kit. https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/first-5-presto-diy-aluminium-tower/ I paid less for it that the above link. I was surprised how solid it is when up. Packs up and fits under the stairs as well. Now I wonder how many of us have scaffolding that is just cluttering the place up.

I have used AVG free for about 20 years. It was really good, allowed one to scan the whole network. Now, it constantly nags me with 'gifts' and how much they love me. On my notebook, I just rely on the built in Windows firewall and Defender. Can honestly say that I have not been bothered much by viruses (should have known that happy99.exe was more than pretty fireworks). Malware is a different issue

In Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is the Canadian capital of donner kebabs, they spell it donair. And doner. https://cultureatz.com/donair/ But they should be honest, and spell it what it is made from, donkey. -

Made me feel peckish that has As I am visiting my Mother, I may take a trip to the kebab van later. There are no truly great kebabs in Cornwall (or Indians for that matter). -

What sort of things do you want to do n a Linux box? Raspberry Pi Zero W costs a tenner. -
I always managed to do 3 days a week of no work when in the office. And I was the productive one.
-
Simple. Bad accounting. They are probably comparing it to something that has a worse carbon footprint. Or say it sequesters 1 tonne of CO2, takes 0.5 tonne CO2 to manufacture and distribute, that has to be negative. I always worry about these sort of claims. Also distribution is very low emissions, until you go and pick it up locally. Then it becomes dreadful.

MS DOS 6 was about 7 MB. Funny how hardware has got smaller, while software has got larger. -
Let us know if you do, I usually go to the cafe there on the weekends. They system they are using on the site just up the road is pale green in colour, no idea whose it is.
