  1. So you have no objections to me contacting Valliant and pointing out that your lack of knowledge about modern heating systems is hampering the performance.
  2. Are you still refusing to use it at night. Or in other words, not using as it is designed to be used? And if you are, have you made it perfectly clear to the installer/ASHP manufacturer that you are using it outside of design parameters?
  3. Cor that’s cheap Always worth shopping about. But my pure guess to pay @Onoff 1500 was not so far out.
  4. What temperature is your room? I have had a quick look at your weather, and a station near me that has similar readings. (Aber Village 87% RH 15.5°C, Mount Hawk 86% RH 16.2°C) My house is currently at 75% RH and 21.7°C Feels fine.
  5. Any help you can borrow it.
  6. Some do. Half the time it is dark, and most of the time people are not looking at the outside if their home.
  7. black powder Bit over the top.
  8. Commercial ones don't have turntables. They work well. I am told that they don't need them as there is sophisticated electronic jiggery pokery that swirls the magnetic fields around. And you can leave a spoon in a Tupperware full of beans and they still work.
  9. I got Monday off, tempted to turn up as well as @joe90. In fact, all of us that are fairly local could turn up. The laugh at the price of the crane.
  10. Think it uses a default number i.e 230g/kWh.
  11. Only millions. I was told, by an expert (well they wore ethnic clothes) that it was all birds. And every bat that has ever existed.
  12. Has it been set to cooling mode somehow. Your unit may be a rebranded Carrier ASHP. Some people pay extra to use cooling mode.
  13. Something like this is cheap and will show power and energy on an item. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403211701093
  14. Or 2.5 [kWh] ÷ 24 [h] = 0.104 kW. Don't a Sky box use about that.
  15. Yes, some older TVs draw similar power when on standby. (it is kWh, now kwh)
  16. Had that. It every now and again, makes a deep rumbling noise. I do wish they would put an air release valve on the door so you don't have to wait wait 30 seconds to open if after shutting it.
  17. I don't know enough about fridges at all. We have 3 at work, one is very quiet (Bush), one is just a basic, cheap, domestic one and seems quiet enough. (Currys) The bigger, posh fridge, is very noisy, but it is about 12 years old now (Liebherr).
  18. Does the type of compressor make much of a difference. Piston Screw Scroll Hermetic
  19. @Onoff said he would do it for £5k, so I will charge you £5.5k, plus your walk on glazing. I will be getting a skip.
  20. Got a nice little Natural History Museum there. Red lined the 205 1.9 GTi on it. Was a bit scary. The cam chain tensioner on my company Vectra disintegrated on it. Was the end of that car. I have never stopped at the McDonalds on it, not once. Had a black girl I knew show me what she bought in the Ann Summers shop in Watford. Second layby up from the M25 heading north.
  21. While I think about it, don't worry about all the different ideas about what may be wrong. This is just the forum members trying to get to the real problem.
  22. I assume this bedroom is upstairs, with radiators? Yes, it is all down to thermal losses after all. You can do a basic heat loss calculation and see if your hunch is right.
