  1. Yesterday
  2. Windows Just about to try it on android tablet (but I let the battery get flat so it needs a charge first)
  3. Most of the internal wall and PIR is in place. Enough to be in the way. Are structural screws acceptable? If all else fails I could get something like timco index screws in place and wind them in with a ratchet spanner. When you drive your nails in, do you drive them perpendicular to the valley, perpendicular to the jack or somewhere in between?
  4. But……would the pipes not move also?
  5. Windows or Linux machine? I'll test on my windows 11 machine to see if I can replicate. And put it in the bug list for further investigation.
  6. That's not the whole answer. The whole raft could rise of fall with ground expansion. Assuming you are using plastic pipes, they will bend to suit, but avoid minimum falls.
  7. To add some context, I’m building a property on a plot that’s been valued at £750k my build costs are coming out to be approx £1 million. My end value for the property post build was listed at between £2- £2.2 million. my broker has queried why the surveyor recommended a £1.8 mill rebuild cost to the mortgage company as she believes this may be an error particularly as he signed of the build costings at a 1 mill. I was surprised at the level of insurance cover required. £1.8 mill rebuild cover on a total GDV of 2-2.2 mill seems high. particularly as the land alone valued at £750k plus
  8. My calculations are around 15m of 16mm, not a lot at all. Sure it'll be fine 🤞🏻
  9. 66.2 m2 floor area (this includes the internal brick walls) 32.6 m External Walls So 0.67?
  10. That’s good to hear. They are doing it correctly. 👍
  11. As you’ve gone for woodcrete, I would tell you with my last breath, to get AeroBarrier in to get you airtight. Leave all the parge coating etc and just let the magic happen. You’ll thank me later.
  12. It took a loooong time to get there, but yes, in a nutshell. lol. 🥳👍
  13. ok thanks. We have chosen a high power motor for the extractor - looks like it would extract a room full of air in 6-15mins depending on the setting.
  14. Cheap and quick sanity check. Best to start the process of elimination there as it sounds like that’s defo the choke point.
  15. That’ll work. If it’s 50 a lot, or high 40’s you’ll maybe find it a bit too warm. Perhaps reduce the quantity of pipe to just a squiggle where you’ll be standing when towelling off etc.
  16. This is getting out of hand lol. There’s is zero chance of pulling all these hypothetical cables, from and to those hypothetical locations, without a padsaw, a hammer, a hole cutter, and shares in Toupret (cos you’ll need a lot of filler). Conduit is the only semi-feasible option, to every box, to a central location. Barmy. Sorry.
  17. Well yes. Although the F&B 'All white' is quite a nice soft white. Flooring guy came this afternoon and wanted me to strip the floor protection off to let it breathe and to turn the heating off for 48hrs before they level it. So can't do any painting until they finish coat 1.
  18. Update on this : I spoke to the raft supplier today (had a few other bits to discuss) and they confirmed there is no issue with point loading so, all fine to run foul drains wherever we need. Onwards & upwards!
  19. Right, but I didn't draw where the ceiling was
  20. Cable running over the top of the door(??) is not in a safe zone (unless that is within 150mm of ceiling)
  21. Hmm interesting. The card you should be seeing looks like this: I wonder whether you have the older version of the app from before I sorted the radiator saving issue locally. Can you close your browser and/or do a hard refresh? On both my browsers - Chromium and Firefox, decimal entry in the form I have is fine from keyboard. and I have the add & select button rather than add to database. Would be interesting to see what you get following full refresh. Ah, no sorry! You're in the Radiator Library editor on the multi project beta! So the card is correct. Inputs on both my browsers work fine for decimals on water content. What browser are you using?
  22. So my local councillor has responded to me with the response he's had from building control. It was more of the same, there are no staff, there's a month+ delay so no timescales can be provided. He's now enquired if staff from a neighbouring borough can help out.
