Can anyone give us an idea how much an airtightness test will cost. Maybe some examples of all that’s included. Thanks!

Wow I did ok at £200

Such a con these air tests 

I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t someone doing them online

on that subject 

 

 looking at what ISOTEX are now suggesting for that 

 a self adhesive house wrap  by proctor- so yuo do you air sealing on outside of build and before widows fitted -

 wrap all walls inc round where windows fit -then seal when the yare fitted to finish it off-can also be used on TF

looks good

 will be investigating that some more nearer the time -- its like tanking the whole house

86 quid for smoke. He must be expecting a lot of leaks. We paid £200 for half a day which included smoke tests, calculations and airtightness test.

@PeterStarck I think you've got it wrong there.

He has to buy a quarter of weed, bit of baggy, nip down the shop for sone rizzla then hot box the OPs whole house. Then he's got to stumble round while high as a kite pointing out any leaks. 

85 seems cheap for that.
