Mandana
Can anyone give us an idea how much an airtightness test will cost. Maybe some examples of all that’s included. Thanks! Edited December 18, 2020 by Mandana

PeterW
@Mandana some of that seems to be your builder fixing problems and supporting the test. Saying that, the test price seems high too.

scottishjohn
on that subject looking at what ISOTEX are now suggesting for that a self adhesive house wrap by proctor- so yuo do you air sealing on outside of build and before widows fitted - wrap all walls inc round where windows fit -then seal when the yare fitted to finish it off-can also be used on TF looks good will be investigating that some more nearer the time -- its like tanking the whole house Edited December 19, 2020 by scottishjohn

We paid £200 for half a day which included smoke tests, calculations and airtightness test.
Bozza
Just paid £250 for my AT. £643 way too high unless a massive building.

Oz07
@PeterStarck I think you've got it wrong there. He has to buy a quarter of weed, bit of baggy, nip down the shop for sone rizzla then hot box the OPs whole house. Then he's got to stumble round while high as a kite pointing out any leaks. 85 seems cheap for that.
