  2. use stainless steel brads
  3. they will make you divert it, if there is fall. Very very unlikely they will allow it through your footings.

  5. the building is definitely a snowflake free zone. Are yyou doing site/subby work or smaller projects ?
  6. battery minimix
  7. be interesting to see if a combination of trickle vents and one of the single room type MVHR units, this one does 50m2, would be a comprimise on heat recovery vs full mvhr https://www.bpcventilation.com/bsk-zephyr-single-room-heat-recovery-unit
  8. be cheaper to take the roof off and use attic trusses. be in the dry in less than a week.
  9. core directly behind the ASHP and you wont see the connection. Make the hole big enough so the insulation is not compressed and then seal it up real good.
  10. klober do a really nice dry virge, gives a much higher end look than a sea of plastic fascia and barge https://klober.co.uk/dry-verge-and-valleys/dry-verges/p/continuous-dry-verge-s-strip
  11. use morter will be fine. seen a pallet of blocks on top of screed before with no issues.
  12. non-habitable rooms should not get damp enough to worry about as its us that generate most of the moisture. Insulation job is to prevent condensation by moving the dew point inside the insulation where condensation cant form.
  13. interesting. But how are rooms without a dmev unit in, bedrooms, studies, living rooms etc supplied with fresh air ? Really needs to be a low cost midpoint between full blown MVHR and through the wall fans with trickle vents.
  14. put down an electric heater of some sort that passes sap. never fit it. crack on.
  15. the warehouse style layout, make some rooms. Plenty room for another en-suite.
  16. i like it, massive improvement.
  17. think BCO would treat that as roof.
  18. 2 issues jump out, highways and a new access on the bend. space for at least 1 car (if its a 1 bed) to turn around in. The rear will be overlooking neighbours amenity space.
  19. long walk to access plant room. double doors into main living areas look good. lot of corridors.
  20. is the outside covering tiles or brick ?
  21. where does the face brick sit ? face brick 150 cav block is the recipie.
  22. dig it out. working back from top. 65mm screed 150mm insulation 150mm hardcore nice and toasty.
