So we’ve received the tiles prior to crimbo they came with the recommended adhesive see pic. Ineed to crack on with the tiling as the A’s the cooker is being delivered early Jan. I’ve phoned our suppliers helpline however they are on their jollies. our setup for the floors are block and beam with a screed downstairs with UFH. Upstairs are egger boards or similar over low profile UFH boards. ive been sent 2 types am I right in thinking one flex is the product to use on the downstairs concrete floor, super flex s2 on wood upstairs. I’ve read instructions a few times and yep I’m so confused. Any help/guidance appreciated ?

We opted for the 3mm I haven’t grouted yet but ours looks ok too. Will take a pic eventually

We’ve put expansion all around the room prior to screeding however I’ve found a further niggle that I’m struggling with. Below the sliding door we have dpm with no screed. There is no space for screed so just enough room for the adhesive and tile. It’s a small section but will be under 3/4 ‘s of a tile! Don’t know how I’m going to achieve this. Do I remove that section of dpm, there is a dpm further below the substrate. If so it would be sitting on a bit of breeze block ? I ain’t got a pic to show yet.

I’m using butec super flex s2 rapid. I’ve been through all the documentation and it doesn’t state any mat. It states can be installed directly on areas with slight movement, including all the surfaces that are present in our house.

I’m putting porcelain directly on to screed, there UFH under that, not sure if I require primer down or not ?

is your floor concrete? Did you put any primer down on the floor Prior to tiling

Hello and welcome to a place full of resources, there’s always someone on hand to answer the silliest of questions!

They were stacked vertically on a pallet just unbelievable. What size spacers you use

Is there something on the market that the edges can be tidied up a little to make them smooth!
-
Speaking of breakages they stack the tiles a stupid way! Cut the strap and boosh box smashed to smithereans I cannot spell that bloody word 5 x meter tiles lost before I even attempt to cut ?
-
So are we saying a manual is better than mechanical? I’m cutting 1m tiles soon and just doing the research. Some say manual leaves a rough edge whereas sawn is nice and smooth. Is this correct with the larger porcelain tile. I’ve been looking at the montolit masterpiuma 93p3.

Yep and the cable is buried in the wall ?

Too late the numpties had already done it!

It’s collecting in the channels where the roofs meet running down the flashing channel. Then on to the external stone work then onto a steel joist (I think) going up to investigate today.

Plasterers have been in a few weeks ago, roof almost finished. The guttering not in yet. Now that the raining season has arrived up in Northumberland! Don’t think it ever stopped tho ?. The water trickles down the side of the house and penetrates the inside leaving the damp patch. I’ve asked the plasterer if this occurs will we have that dreaded patch once painted. He’s stated, no! im no plasterer but a little dubious about his answer any thoughts/experiences

We choose cable option as didn’t want to steal from the Wi-fi!
-
The cable has already been installed to the site of the camera’s, so Poe is just 1 cable that can power the unit as well? Soz for being thick ? also do Poe cameras have the ability for an app over Wi-fi?
