We’ve put provision in for 2 camera’s with network cable, front and back of house. Looking for any ideas on type that provide power through cat 5. Is is it worth it? or should we just plan for wifi cameras?

Hi ?, just busy pricing up a 4M balustrade to go on an upstairs terrace. The supplier has stated that it needs to sit on either steel or concrete. Can anyone confirm this is correct. Currently in position there are gallium beam to floor and both sides.

Morning, anyone have experience with NWL? looking for info on charges associated with the application/connection just for sewer/surface water. completed my application back in January for water and drainage connection. I paid in advance the sewerage infrastructure charge £335.00 but now have a further bill that states “fee relating to sewer connection” for £305.00 ive spoken to the office that deals with this twice but don’t think they understand what I’m trying to say. I was just under the impression that it was one charge. anyone help!

Just about to plant some bare root blackthorn, needing some advice please. I’ve installed a mesh fence on our boundary, it’s quite damp at this part of the garden. The bare root plants I have are 45-60 cms in height so just thin little things. If I was to dig a trench it would just be full of water, so wondering if I could just soak them then get a metal spike to create a hole, place them in then firm them in by foot.

I’ve asked the question as I was told they were not giving any lead times at all!
