  1. What I meant is the water track marks from the corners look the same ! Not good news .
  2. So currently I have no idea !
  3. So ! i hose that corner wall for a good 10 minutes. Run underneath- can’t see any obvious difference ! ?
  4. This is the wall near the troublesome window . Looks like it got saturated in the rain - so with no flashing possibly the problem ? i’ve covered the window better this time - see what happens
  5. Ok We’ve had fairly decent rain so I went to look at the site . Gates blown open and knocked a window cover over - so water there expected . 2 seem dry . 1 slight water as expected . Other not so sure ( the smaller one with water tracking marks from the corners . Remember no flashing at the moment
  6. Hey Cost was just over 2K + vat. So that's the rear (as in the photo) and also some fixed vertically ( nightmare! ) at the front. As I said I spent a fortune on the nice trim. Cheers
  7. Marley eternit was the product . All the trim costs though ! I over used it to hide all cuts . Happy to dig up the cost for you later
  8. Looks like a dream ! https://www.tradetiler.com/dewalt-d24000-wet-saw-electric-tile-cutter-inc-stand-select-voltage.html
  9. Yep flat roofs - especially of ‘ non standard ‘ design are a nightmare. We had no proper plan for it , and by that I mean the architect didn’t . Hopefully though we are moving forward on that aspect .
  10. Record all conversations covertly . i did ; helped my fight for 5 years
  11. Render board . I think all stud finders work on snake oil - ffs . imex on the way
  12. Yep . Its ok - I know exactly where to look for leaks .
  13. Can you guess the result? IMG_8944.MOV
  14. Couldn’t agree more . Have completely covered the walk on sky light holes - just waiting for rain .
  15. It passed the test so will get the 25 yr warranty . You are quite right behind the gate pillars was tricky ( they showed me this without me prompting) they’ve ‘poured’ bitumen in that gap . Between the gates the bitumen runs through them so water will run off ( will get a photo up later ) .
  16. Roofers been He said price didn’t include flashing (ffs) ; but said it did need it and gave me a guys number . The ‘test’ took all of 4 minutes - guy with a broom type device
  17. Against the stone work does look like the bitumen has bonded
  18. No , they scan with a magic thing and it determines whether there are any patches of less than acceptable depth . Happens tomorrow so will know then .
  19. No idea ! Suspect neither work “ for me “ Its the ‘eco’ version whatever the F that means for a stud finder ?
  20. Not at the site. But took this photo because the gate hinges will need moving up 50mm What I do notice where the permatec goes vertical up the stone work it does look like it's fully bonded - so *perhaps* flashing isn't required !
  21. Found imex on Amazon But they’ve just cancelled my order ! Found again on eBay from different seller . Determind to get this !
  22. No detailing . But it’s exactly the same as before . Structual silicone the metal frames to the upstand . Place glazing in . Structural silicone around glazing .
  23. Hmmmmmm Well roofer has confirmed that the IKO layer beneath the felt is indeed seamless and is the waterproof layer. He's now saying that flashing ( presumably lead ) wasn't included in the price. We did discuss flashing on-site - so I assumed was and more importantly was required. This IKO seamless stuff - even up uneven stone work requires no flashing????? Meeting on-site tomorrow to do the 'test' for the warranty.
  24. Hope your bastard shower leaks ! ?
  25. ????????????
