  8. True. Still looks tight too me . Also the Geberit original destructions do only show fitting from stud into metal frame. You didn't do it the Geberit way!!! UMMMMMM!!! ?
  9. Well! This one didn't work. Might just be the wires need swapping around... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1PC-12V-Mini-Cooling-Computer-Fan-Small-40mm-x-10mm-DC-Brushless-3-pin-JC/193264503219?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
  10. Just ordered some self tapping screws at 100mm long so will just screw through the timber into the metal frame . Less hassle than breaking the cistern !
  11. Whats "Gently" mean???
  12. Call to geberit - told me not to remove the cistern . Their advice drill a pilot hole into the steel then use a wood screw ! Not happy with that . Think I need long self tapping screws - can then drill through timber from the outside - then use screw that bites the steel properly.
  13. Hey @Onoff What am I doing wrong here ? Managed to get 1 bolt in but the rest are basically inaccessible - does the actual cistern come out or something ? . Don’t see how I can get a bolt from the outside in and hold the nut ...

  17. I'll order 2!
  18. Ah ! Before purchase of cistern the style of push plate was ‘ unknown ‘ - so currently not bought any . That will be another decision for another day !! ?
  19. Just mocking up the basin waste . Hard not to use a 90 degree tee . Looks like linking white waste pipe ( left poking through ) into black soil might be fun . How far ‘around’ the soil pipe should the boss strap be ? - I assume as high as possible ??
  20. Can you please link me to the correct adaptor ?
  21. ok ; I seem to need something that lets me connect the sink plug to the waste .... ?
  22. Houston ! Check manifold of manifolds open Check inlet valve is dry Check bowl in place We are clear to flush - that’s clear to flush Houston ! Ah ! Bigger bowl required Houston ! Mission deemed successful !
  23. Yeah elbow . I was talking all professional ? TBH I stood here thinking - I should fill the cavity behind with sound insulation stuff - like a true pro !!! ?
  24. Warning warning ! Reaching point of commitment !! Water Hep2o inlet attached - waste in . Just got to sort Hep2o pipe to inlet . Looks like underneath I have no choice but a 90 degree tee . This is it for fitting the cistern I assume ....
