  1. ? Black with SPARKLES! - just wait until the bubble wrap is all off ( and my winch doesn't fail and smash it )
  2. Those red/black levellers have a skinny spindle - I felt the gap created would be too narrow
  3. These arrived today . The grout gap maybe 2mm using these . What I do like is they can space corners and edges . Assuming they don’t fall out
  4. Level yes . Gap no unless you want 1mm gap
  5. Sure i was on about wall tiles
  6. Hmmmmm This metal beading feels a bit hopeful ! It requires skill is what I mean ! Ok from a distance . Less than perfect close up . Will use coloured sealant on ‘gaps’
  7. I talk to mine . The big blue eye watches me .
  8. Ordered Also I ordered a 1 metre strap . Plan being I can then thread the other 2 straps ( 4 ends ) all onto the 1 metre one - then that to the hook
  9. Preliminary test ! Need more straps ! Also - problem how to hook potentially 4 strap ends around the hook . Suggestions welcome !
  10. Certainly warm in here today . Ufh working ?
  11. All done . They did suggest moving the electrics under that valve .
  12. Method - was what I was trying to type ? Ok ; so damp sponge across ??
  13. So ! Coloured grout and Mastik has arrived . Whats the best tool / Mathis to point the grout ?
  14. Don’t know . I’ll ask him tomorrow
  15. Waiting for examination of the photo . Just for the record installed by a company recommended many times on here !
  16. He did apologise for that ! ?
  17. But they never stay in . Just pressure from a tile on one side and on another side - fall out ! ?
  18. What did you do to space tiles vertically ?
  19. Well I’ve dremel cleaned my grout lines . Some of the tile spacing is less than perfect on close inspection . I don’t like the white cross plastic spacers . One of the reasons I make a mess is I try to position them vertically and therefore I use a small amount of adhesive to hold them there ... Have ordered some different type of spacers that can do corners ( which I want ) I.e 3 way . 2 way and 1 way just by rotating them . I want the bathroom tiling to be better !!
  20. Guys have been busy ....
  21. A man after my own heart ?
  22. He also had a battery copper pipe cutter .
  23. Yeah that’s what the guy said around 1600 for the tool . Just not seen it before .
  24. Guys are here connecting up uvc and ASHP . All the internal connections they do in copper . I assumed this was solder , sweat , blow torch etc . But it’s not ! They effectively ‘crimp’ special copper fittings together . Looks as easy as hep2o !
