  1. First almost whole sheet up . Will add noggins to ends . Cut it to short ! Typical , I always think things are longer than they actually are !!
  2. Nope. I let all the mistakes / changes /mess up's go. Then a few days ago I tried to open one of the small sliding doors. It's jammed solid. Nothing I can do to open it. I've sent a nice email as you can imagine. At the time I never though anything of the 12 month warranty - but that's really really crap i.e. they are out of the warranty period. Current quote from IQGlass is 390+vat to look at it and "maybe" fix it on site. All the little things I let go because the guy I was dealing with ( better not name him ) f everything up - he has since left the company.
  3. Apologies to admin. If you wish to delete I understand. AVOID IQGLASS
  4. BM said 12.5 . It’s on-site so using it ? For reference the water resistant pb on bathroom / ensuite ceiling is also 12.5
  5. Just means doing things like this to support the pb both ways
  6. Pb for ceiling is 12.5mm Collated screws 45mm Will support all ends !
  7. PT guys arrived . Oh well work will have to wait . After that it will be lunch time
  8. Yeah that’s what I thought . I’ll use more noggins and put the ceiling pb up first . Then at least the sloped pb will offer some support at the joint ( ceiling to slope ) . Probably over thinking it as it avoids doing the work ?
  9. I’m putting in noggins ready for the plasterboard ceiling . What should I do where sloped plasterboard meets horizontal ceiling ? A noggin at the top ( and bottom ) for the slope . Another noggin at the top for the ceiling ? . Just seems wasteful and awkward - or is it simply the way ?
  10. Nah shitbox Filton
  11. You bloody did ! No heating in the friggin bathroom !!
  12. You obviously purchased ‘ SWMBO lite ‘ ...
  13. I do most the cooking ! I am an excellent cook !
  14. Going to do that aswell . Remember I need some SWMBO kudos !
  15. Tomorrow I'll go and open an account. I'm sure on the spot some extra 'deals' will appear!
  16. I'm going to build my temp kitchen in the middle of the under ground dungeon deliberately to keep away from walls as they aren't complete. Also I don't want to move the temp kitchen. To make it stronger I can bolt the units together. I was thinking about a 'false' wall behind them to mount the wall units on. But I can't fix to the floor due to UFH - ct1 a wooden supporting structure to the screed?????
  17. Bargain!. With some cheap worktop I can butcher away!
  18. ? TBH I'd probably stick it on eBay for £100 buyer collects ( and dismantles ) We have no utility room. I'm special. My house is special
  19. You are indeed correct! Visiting Howdens tomorrow!
  20. You sure? That presumably means doors/handles/hinges etc. etc. extra???
  21. 22. Yeah I looked at that. Looks suitably cheap and undoubtedly shit. Could do with more base units ( guess I could just buy those ). For once I was trying to be a REAL cheap scape!
  23. Thanks. The appliances aren't the issue it's cheap units/fronts/worktop . All going to end up in the skip at some point....
