  1. All trades are maxed out where I am . Book a plaster today he’ll turn up in 3 months . Roofer was booked for December, only just started the job . Covid lockdown has built up pent up demand ...
  2. AH! (expletive deleted) it!. The last one so ordered it. See what happens! Half the price!.
  3. No. Did he have problems installing a WC ?
  4. Tempted https://www.amazon.co.uk/Elica-hood-NIKOLATESLA-SWITCH-PRF0146210-Black-Recycling/dp/B07P7RL8DP/ref=pd_lpo_265_t_2/260-2977061-9366519?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07P7RL8DP&pd_rd_r=5ac57cbf-17f8-43c4-8464-3e8b6a2a710c&pd_rd_w=QXK6s&pd_rd_wg=RyzZR&pf_rd_p=e0b512b6-8cc4-4ac5-840d-bd4940cc1395&pf_rd_r=CA42MV4TZYY26J77SPWQ&psc=1&refRID=CA42MV4TZYY26J77SPWQ Nearly half the price!. But I presume as it's coming direct from Italy I may ( will! ) get hit with customs and who knows what additional brexit costs. Is it worth the hassle???
  5. WC looks impossible though !
  6. Won’t go . The problem is the boss is just too high - only by 10mm Max . I’ll solvent weld a plug in it and do a less rotated one next to it ... I’ll hide the mess as always - thanks false ceiling
  7. I was just “ exploring the possibility “ - which means even I think it’s pants .
  8. Christ! That must of been all the stock in the U.K. !
  9. You bad man!. You'll get thrown off the board for showing that!
  10. Bloody strap ! I presume hacking the end of the pipe so it goes in the boss strap is a bad idea also ?
  11. New boss strap then ! ?
  12. Too long a run . Also ufh in the way !
  13. Could always put a new boss strap next to the duff one at a more favourable angle . Just wondering how critical this is ....
  14. Also looking at my grey water waste . The boss strap isn’t quite at the right angle . So I’ve got a fall but it’s angled up a bit at the end . This an issue ???
  15. I could maybe run horizontally 3m then 45 degrees up ; but assume that’s no good
  16. Can’t . Wc is ‘under ‘ the flat car parking area .... ?
  17. What about nasty things like this ? Not sure if this makes it better or worse !!
  18. So that anchor post info I got sent no good ??
  19. I thought you had to go vertical first . I will need to go maybe 6m horizontally then just under 3m vertically to be able to discharge .
  20. Anchor pumps.com Say it is possible
  21. What about something nasty . wc pumps horizontally. Then another macerator in the lounge to lift it 3m ??? swmbo not happy !!!
  22. Drain out !!
  23. Spoke to Saniflo - there’s no product that can do that !! Not sure it’s possible ! Location of toilet - ceiling height 2.5m Assuming I core through the top of the wall . My ceiling height changes ... That red pipe I’m using for cable ducting is already lower than the lowest point of my drain out . Can’t be done can it ????? Finally the drain out ...
  24. I’m currently installing the macerator for grey water - this should be ok . My understanding is I need to get the initial vertical pipework high as possible then have a fall into the main drain . Thinking ahead though I wish to install a wc below ground . It’s going to be difficult ( I can’t see a way of doing it ) using this method for non grey waste ? From the photos can I do this ? . Run the waste horizontally for many metres then come up on the other side of the black waste vertically ( rather busy on the other side ) ? According to my grey waste saniflo this is not permitted . The same for ? waste macerator ? - or is that not an issue ??
