I assume no projector can match a modern Oled ( etc . ) type tv in terms of quality and brightness - but anyone gone this route ??

Funnily enough I was in Barnstaple on the weekend . That’s near you for sure as Cornwall / Devon are the same thing . I imagined you eating your pasty followed by a cream tea ( not a euphemism ) . Exactly . We always got “ detrimental to the local amenity “ . Fight them hard enough and make then define exactly what they mean . Obviously they’ll struggle but will come back with usually a list of weak points . Then you can adjust to suit thereby mitigating ‘ out of character’
