  1. Nope . What is strange is I gave up on one cross and tried another . That one after a bit of elbow grease and multisolve has come up pretty good . I can only assume I might of used different tape on this window . Going to try the other 2 now …. Will try the other suggestions on the worst pane .
  2. Tried to take a photo but of course it doesn’t show up . ct1 multisolve has done a pretty good job . But it’s still easy to see a cross smear where the tape was - ? I’ve got 4 of these I may have f up ?
  3. I see safelincs have some Ultrafire alarms at 30quid each on ebay!! AH! B*LLS not mains
  4. Cheapest one https://www.safelincs.co.uk/fireangel-pro-connected-mains-radio-interlinked-smoke-and-heat-alarms/ Can't seem to find any mains/wireless comms ones cheaper. Just a case of suck it up then ?
  5. I need to order these up. So have 2 core + earth to each location. 6 fire, 1 heat required Looked at https://www.safelincs.co.uk/radio-interlinked-smoke-alarms/ But they are like £70+ each!! ( with wireless comms between them ) Any other recommendations??? Also need a carbon monoxide detector ( for log fire ) assume this does not need to trigger the others for an alarm ....
  6. I didn’t want to do that . I thought it would look crap . I fitted it “ as is “ and will just use some slim metal trim at the rear . I like metal trim .
  7. Excuse me . I’m simply seeing it as an investment opportunity. It was this or Tesla shares . I felt Elon didn’t deserve my money .
  8. It’s unique stock . Once in a lifetime never to be repeated . I’m struggling to not up the price by 20% like all other building materials. It won’t stay at this discount price for long . When it’s gone it’s gone !
  9. Can you please add tracking for walk on glazing ?
  10. How do you get the car up the stairs ?
  11. Checked it all . As my first thought was wobbly tray or mis aligned blade . All seems solid too me …. Will try your idea of pushing the tile out from the tray for the final cut
  12. Bought a new Dewalt blade - didn’t gawk too much at the cost now I’ve seen the price range for such things . Cutting much faster and smoother now ?
  13. In another life I will . I’ve got lots to do differently in my reincarnated next life . Knowing my (expletive deleted)ing luck I’ll come back as myself
  14. It was just crappy cheap decorators masking tape! Didn't expect it to fight me. Multi solve ordered !
  15. The thing is I can’t feel the residue . Even gently used a Stanley knife - nothing . It’s like it’s in the glass rather than on it
  16. Ct1 multi solve you mean ??
  17. Yeah I’m not sure . Google also says white vinegar etc.
  18. I put masking paper tape crosses over my windows to avoid them getting broken . Thought it would be easy to remove ? I’ve scrubbed , tried cif etc but as you can see the imagine of a cross remains . ?
  19. Yeah I would of thought 20cm recess depth was plenty for both .
  20. I found they just all bitch to the council no matter what . It really depends on the area I think . An obnoxious, arrogant, superiority complex , affluent area where I live means there will always be neighbour aggression . An area where everyone bakes cakes , loans their car , shares their partner would be much less hassle .
  21. In a particular bedroom where I occasionally sleep with my mistress I require complete darkness at night and daylight daytime . The room is at the front of the house so spectators could get an amazing view . I don’t like this as they should pay for the privilege. So ! I was looking at a roller blackout blind for at night . One with a frame so no light bleeding around the edges . For daytime though I was thinking of a blind . Been told by a blind manufacturer that a horizontal typical blind won’t fit in the recess with the blackout blind ( recess depth around 20cm ) . Maybe a vertical blind ? . Can be angled to let daylight in but prevent perverts getting a free eye full ( unless they press their face right up to the window ) . Anyone else have these issues ? ( with blinds not potential customers )
