  1. Mines clicked in ! Been in and out the closet more times than a Friday night . Have soft close working on both sides now ! ? But this stage confuses me . This fitting sits ( looking at the wardrobe ) on the right door top left corner . But I can’t work out what it is for
  2. Yeah right , like swmbo’s going to help
  3. It’s a mare ! On this left door the door plastic can’t connect with the soft close . Watched a few videos - can’t see anything obviously wrong
  4. Jesus ! Talk about a test of endurance. Got the doors on - all great ! Then realise the soft close add ons are in a seperate box and have to remove a door to sort . ? Looking at the unit door on right sorted . Soft close works fine . For the non IKEA reader the system and fittings for the left and right door are different. The left door I just don’t get . Followed the destructions but can’t get it to work nor see how it works . Someone enlighten me as I’ve got another 10 of these muver (expletive deleted)ing things to do ?????
  5. Or go under with one floor ??
  6. You can buy my incomplete build . Knock it down and start again , yeah ?
  7. I think I know his brother ! Was his surname d’over ?
  8. I think for some Suds is everything and for others it really is a complete joke . Another joke aspect in my experience was a ‘garden landscape ‘ design . I knocked up something in 5 minutes . My Architect laughed and said it was rubbish and wouldn’t satisfy the council . My effort passed no issue and it was a child like pathetic approach deliberately. I did this because I sensed it was a tick box exercise for the council like SO many things ….
  9. ? Trust me you are lucky . A miserable shite group of vindictive neighbors can find 140 things to object to . Now that we can see the style of the neighbouring properties I would simply mimic them as near as you can to avoid the council objecting to the ‘ character ‘ . A precedence has been set follow it . Then with the money saved from your architects previous effort go underground and double the floor area ?
  10. Also , you are well jammy . No neighbors objecting . You are sorted ! That’s half the battle . As others have said with no idea of nearby ‘styles’ or build line it’s hard to judge what you should do . Some photos of nearby properties would help and a Google overhead view or street view gives some context .
  11. Soften and simplify the look . Then go underground and double the size ?
  12. Bump ?
  13. With the glue it went down no problem and stuck like sh*t . Bit of ‘sliding ‘ to get in position . Walking over it sliding my feet then some tiles at the edges for weight . Next day 100% bonded to screed . What a pro I am ??
  14. I’d say 3mm ish if you stick it down with glue rather than tile adhesive
  15. Don’t worry . I can’t cut straight to save my life .
  16. Wall behind the bath . Nice flat screen tv that has a long multi jointed arm so you can bring it out and have it face you when in the bath ?
  17. An excellent suggestion . It could form part of a contemporary art exhibit.
  18. Nah not a blog , that would be a pane ?
  19. The glass or the super posh customer? ?
  20. I am that man ! ?
  21. https://www.ikeahackers.net/2019/11/ikea-pax-wardrobe-problems.html hmmmmmmm ?
  22. SPACE-PLUG KITCHEN this for fitting to the wall . But still hate that IKEA flimsy back ! ( cardboard ffs ! )
  23. Really interesting vid I have sliding doors that sit over the frame so need a skinny infill . Even if I did manage to scribe ( !!! ) a perfect 2 metre length what should I use to fill the gap ( between wall and scribe ) caulk ???
