Well you’ve got it in writing . Personally I would get to new quotes to fix this ( from companies you know are good ) . Also get them to write what is wrong I.e why it’s a shit job . Then if current company does nothing you have 2 new quotes and get it done properly whilst starting small claims court proceedings . (expletive deleted)ing disgusting - subbie was blind and no arms I presume .

Do we think brothels might restrict their opening hours to save on fuel costs? . Asking for a friend. -

Solar power payback takes much longer than you think

Fair points . I always think PV function is more important than visual form . I must be one of those that had no tax dodge for an EV . -

But that’s exact what we need to do . I remember when recycling started ( sorting glass , plastic etc. ) how hard some people found it . If we don’t change as a species we are (expletive deleted)ed . Agree industry needs to up its game e.g excessive packaging . I live in an affluent area . Houses around me 1 million + . I know some have good incomes etc. . How many pv panels can I see and batteries ? ;none , just mine . Why is that ? . I assume they can afford it . Some have massive south facing roofs . But I guess they don’t care - just pay more for their electric / gas rather than do something… -

Exactly . Why everyone is concerned about ROI on these things baffles me . Suppose it’s 15 yrs or indeed 5 yrs . Does it matter ? . -

Agree ! Joe public I think likes to pretend it’s not really happening; bit like a politician. Winter is going to be crippling especially ( though not exclusively! ) for the poorest . -

Mental isn’t it . Currently as I pay the bills on 3 HMO’s - I have to find an extra 9k ! - that’s ignoring the mortgage interest payment increases . So around 15k “ short “ at the moment. What do I do ? - increase every tenants rent by £100 a month ? ; even ones on low salaries… Still be short somewhat …. -

You’ve done well . Your “ mate “ ( I can use other words here but the automated expletive remover will go wild ) deserves a punch . With no skills ( and still none 😁 ) digging out an underground house I know how easy it is to feel completely out of your depth . “ oh (expletive deleted) what have I done “ . It does get easier I.e it feels more manageable even if you haven’t got a clue . Use this forum ; ask even more dumb questions than me and you’ll get there !

Hep2O Sleves/pipe-inserts Stuck in Hep2O Fittings
Pocster replied to GandyP's topic in Introduce Yourself
Experienced this also . Usually get pliers and bust / pull the sleeve out the fitting . If I’m not in the mood to fanny around i throw the fitting .
