Yep. Also again in my opinion indoor space is 'valued' space i.e. sq meterage has value and use. If you have loads of unused space indoors then I think it's fine. But when you want big sofa's / arcade machines/ massive kitchen/ downstairs WC - then batteries go outdoors 😁

The current SE battery has a built in fire extinguisher ....... Outside is better in my opinion because if there is a fire/incident better outside than in. Heat build up (especially in lofts etc. ) not an issue if outside. Also getting a 130kg battery in a loft ( or replacing it; won't be too much fun ). Most of all though outside gives space for additions/alterations at a later date.

Nah . All steps at once . Some days plumbing , some days electrics , some days IT . Mix it up - same thing week after week gets boring . Also it makes your site look a right mess so people think you are busy !!

Whilst rummaging through my plumbing box ( not a euphemism ) I found 2 other poly pipe segments . No markings on them but a few mm difference on all of them .

No (expletive deleted)ing plumbers on this forum are there . I put the rubber fitting in boiling water . It’s the tightest rubber I’ve ever put on but does fit 😉

Funnily enough the saniflo guy checked exactly that . It just says 32mm so internal / external ? . its floplast so assume 36mm external - which is too large ..

Grrr 😡 32mm pipework everywhere ( 36mm outer ) . Saniflo fitting ; pipe too large I.e needs to be 32mm internal . Saniflo phone call confirms this . So I need a very short length of 32mm external . Any brands where this is true ? - floplast it certainly isn’t . Or is this a push fit pipe v’s solvent weld size difference ??

Yeah I can do that . It’s the ‘removal ‘ of the sanicompact when it fails that is the issue . I can fit it now easily and batten out the walls . But it will be impossible to remove without breaking the walls .

I think I know what to do ! No 100% pipes hidden , but pretty good and allows the unit to be removed when it fails I.e when wet wipe or more likely Lego gets chucked down it .

Only sensible way I can see of doing this. Red pipe is discharge pipe and is surface mounted! ( Grrrrrrr ). So vertical down in corner then right with a fleicone ( or similar ) to make remove etc. easier. Green pipe is sink outlet in the stud work and pops out to the right of the pan. Easier to access there with jubilee clips Water inlet just gets 'pushed' up inside the wall ; plenty of length on it if pan needs to be pulled forward. EDIT: though I could box in the red discharge pipe at least until the bottom I suppose.....
