  1. Typical Wigoneons
  2. I’ve used probably a zillion cans of expanding foam . Tried the cleaner at first never had any joy . I now just buy 10 guns at a time and bin ‘em when fecked
  3. Typical Makita shite . Can’t make proper tools so do a (expletive deleted)ing microwave . Note ! There’s no Dewalt microwave 💪
  4. Trying to understand the benefits of this ( never heard of it before ) and if it solves the multiple AC units connected to grid issues ….
  5. My export on PW is indeed wrong - set at 3.68. I assume it's a simple case of contacting Tesla and they'll change it? Presume they can validate themselves it's within the limitations of what the DNO has set.
  6. Yep . Back home soon - will log into Tesla gateway and check . I assume this is wrong
  7. Options available for batteries 3 yrs ago …. PowerWall , or PowerWall or maybe PowerWall !
  8. Oi ! Your phone android yeah ? You left handed yeah ? You veggie yeah ? You Welsh yeah ? F me !
  9. Pw far better than other batteries imho . I is cool Winston
  10. Because DNO won’t allow me gob shite ; try and keep up else off to the blue parrot
  11. Original install was pw and 4kw pv and *whatever* inverter Additions by different company added SE battery , additional PV and changed the inverter . I can’t be held accountable for what I said in the past . Lifetime of anything I post being valid is around 3 minutes ( like the film memento - though having said that I don’t really remember it all )
  12. Lucky lucky me !!!! 😁👍 https://homeseer.com/reolink-video-doorbell-integration/ I can check for dogs and cats - ‘cause I really need that feature !
  13. Hmmm Dno says my max export is 8.6kw I take that as 3.6 pv + 5 pw Yet I’ve never got PW to export over 3.7 ! . I know the gateway effectively has a limiter ) - wonder if that’s set incorrectly ??
  14. Is it worth changing the inverter ? I guess the real question is how often ( if ever ) will I get 5.7kw of pv ( as that’s the limit as you suggest ) . My pv array is split across 2 roofs ; so the array limit of 7kw would only ever be theoretical .
  15. SE battery never set for “ self consumption “ because it can in certain circumstances steal from PowerWall ( that was the main problem in that original thread you linked too ) . So ! I do wonder why the installer didn’t put a larger ( thru put ) inverter in ? . I’m guessing cost wise ( for me ! ) not a great deal of difference? But as you say - as long as SE isn’t fully charged it can suck on 5k and potentially 2k to pw/home/grid
  16. But shouldn’t SE charge before Tesla - as it’s dc ??
  17. Oops ! I did forget . I am a lazy twat
  18. Hence why the build takes so long
  19. I’m away on a beach at the moment ( lying in the sun thinking about these things ) . Will sort photos Saturday ( of inverter etc. not beach 😎 )
  20. Right ! Helpful thanks . I guess if I grab my inverter model number would help ?
  21. Your diagram makes sense . I have no idea of my configuration. I will ask the installer - though at the moment they won’t speak to me . I only sent them 15 emails a few days ago …
  22. Ermmmmm . You are an optimist yeah ? Schematic produced by whom ? 🫤
  23. Glad you enjoyed our rubbish . So as you say what I ask is possible ? ( not interested in increasing export ) . I *suppose* having a DC battery mitigates the inverter limitations to some extent I.e it could charge at pv maximum generation . Would the DNO object in principle to g99 ( from g98 ) with a limiter imposed ? . After all I’m interested in my internal bottleneck only …
  24. Exactly . I assumed I was being dumb ( yeah yeah ) . In my scenario as it stands if I didn’t have the SE battery but have a 7kw pv array I’d only ever get 3.66 generated . Where’s smarty bullocks @Nickfromwales when you need him !
  25. I’m not touching anything ! Someone will chime in
