I couldn't find specific maker's names on the main report or the individual test reports which to put it bluntly is the biggest cop out ever! You'll be forced to sift through ALL THE reports to see if the one you have matches it in looks for a start. Then as with so many of the Chinese made ones it might be a copy of a design with subtle differences or QA/QC procedures.

Btw, you can remove the Bosch hole saw and fit other brands. Actually the odd Erbauer hole saw I've bought from Electricfix (check their clearance range) has been spot on. (Their 115mm / 1mm slitting discs are pony though).

Looks great. What's the construction, is it insulated etc? What about splash "up"? I'd be more worried about that as it appears to sit quite low on the concrete slab. Rule of thumb is to have anything you don't want getting wet 6" above ground. It's why dpcs are where they are, historically something to do with the average height a rain drop bounces when it hits the deck I believe.

+1 You NEED a set of these. Very impressed. A sparky mate I don't see very often enthused about them to me by chance and found I was already using them. Also grab a couple of Starrett pilot drills, the 1/4" HsCo ones. They'll go thru thick steel like I beams without a pilot a piece of pi$$. Morse brand hole saws are better IMO than Starrett. Impressed with the Bosch quick change hole cobalt saws though. A set of arrowhead tile drills. A couple of long series 5mm & 6mm HSS are good to have. Quick change bits do save a lot of time. Always use cutting compound on steel like RTD or Trefolex.

You could multi-tool the slot in the floor board with the TRV a bit longer to give a bit more "give". The other valve looks like you'll get the 5 to 10mm with a bit of gentle flexing.

Wish they'd done my lounge.....some clown did the walls in hardboard on <25mm tile battens. The 35mm dry lining boxes used bow the walls out. At least they were good enough to finish it in woodchip!

Been quite impressed with the Bosch 18V drill I bought for work recently. 67Nm which is a bit less than my main Makita which is eighty something Nm. The thing with the Bosch it that it's so short front to back.

FFS don't go anywhere near AEG. My BiL had a "blue" one bought as end of range. Metal chuck, gears and feels solid, like it'd pass the "drop test"! This before production moved to China. On the strength of his I bought a new range "orange" AEG from Toolstation on offer. The moment I got it home I knew I'd made a mistake. It sounded like a bag of bolts, looked like a spark firing Christmas toy and felt like it was made from that bit of plastic left when all the biscuits in the tin have gone. Took it straight back the same day to be told I couldn't return it to them but that it had to go back to AEG. Apparently I should have been told this at the time of purchase. I suggested they play their CCTV back to show I hadn't been told. Being 6'5", hirsute and having a demeanour that makes small children burst into tears I got a refund. Went to S'fix next door, bought a Makita and haven't looked back.

What's this new Makita "G Series" rubbish all about? ANOTHER different fitting battery FFS! Incompatible with LXT tools and chargers but the same Li-ion technology underneath. BAD MAKITA!
