Not sure old people need instant. Perfect temperature. It's what we keep our house at. About my favourite temperature as well. There is a bit to much hair shirtery when 20°C is quoted, even though that is about my mean temperature. -

Not excessively hot and well within the capabilities of all heat pumps. Just a case of designing it correctly and making sure there are not too many losses though the fabric of the building. -

@CalvinHobbes What room temperature are you trying to reach? This is what determines your heat source. You can if you want do a combination heating systems i.e. wet ASHP and an A2AHP. I was at my Mother's Care home yesterday, noticed that there is a number of ASHPs on the building. Had a little route about and it seems the place is heated with them, why the radiators do not seem hot, but they are near enough on all the time. -

There is two schools of thought here: If they grew well last year, they will grow well this year Don't plant the same thing in the same spot. There is a number of reasons for the second one, usually involving contamination. This year I have planted stuff in containers, but kept them indoors. Potatoes, onions and some chillies (I have no luck with these at all). Shall wee what happens. -
Friend of mine had a small flat in South London. She wanted to convert the garage space into a tiny studio flat. I suggested that she buy a camper van. She did and when friends stayed, she used the camper. When friends where not staying, she often went of exploring.

Only 3 things to check really. The k-value, the moisture absorbency and the compression deflection/strength.

One day I want to see the same car win every round. Nearly got there with the one car I had a minor involvement with in 1988. -

While taking away his drill, long crosshead screwdriver and Stanley knife. Of all the trades, electricians should understand resistance and insulation best.

0.18 [W.m-2.K-1] x 90 [m2] x 20 [ΔT] = 324 W Have you got a factor of ten error somewhere? (I know that is just the floor, but it is to highlight the possibility of an error)

Or the radiators are the wrong size. -
I can get half hourly data from EDF. I would be surprised if it cannot be got in France.

It is a slow day, everyone is stuck at the A30 roadwork between Carland Cross and Chiverton. Keep quiet about the £8m from the EU.

There is probably less suitable roofs than we imagine.
