  2. Looking at that plan again: I would speak to No 12 and No 10. If they would let you run the pipe under their front garden and connect to the spur that runs up alongside No 10, then that would avoid all the road opening and traffic management fees. Start by offering each of them £1K for permission to cross their land and the disruption caused. Making good a front garden after the work has to be cheaper than re surfacing a road and the cost of the works should be less. Alternatively lok at the same crossing No 14's back garden and into the end of the run behind No 16

  4. Im at the same stage LABC 3100 Buildzone 2083 Both recognised by most lenders We are going to the self build show tomorrow to if they will do a on the day discount Protek are another that seems well recognised but no quote as yet We need to take one of them this weekend as we are starting foundation later next week Bit of a con really they rarely pay out If I was buying I would feel more assured with an architects cert But quite a few of the mainstream lenders don't recognise a architect cert Ill let you know which way we jump tomorrow Gary

  5. We got two Hormann doors (and a side door) for our garage, one electric and one manual. Was pleased with the quality of the doors and the installation. Was not much between that and Ryterna. Can share the firm on PM, midlands based but came to Berkshire. Also did my passive front door.
