ToughButterCup
I know I am going to get the blame for this. And it is almost certainly going to make it rain for a month. I've had enough of squinting and the forecast is good for the rest of the week; and I'm on the roof . All that highly reflective foil..... So I'm buying some sunglasses. I don't need to look good (or cool even), but I don't need a namby pamby pair of beach shades. I don't need a hard-man aviator look either (although deep down I am a hard aviator Tom Cruise type - but taller, much taller , .... and more handsome) Advice? That'd be me, then. I was a bit-part bloke in Poldark - a horse handler to be precise. Mind you, that was the original series, so time may have taken it's toll. I did enjoy holding Angharad Rees horse, though... 1

jack
If reflections are an issue, go for polarised. I prefer polarised for driving, for example, as a lot of the brightness is reflections from cars.

Not to state the obvious, but what happened to the shades in your avatar? They are quite cool in an NCIS sort of way. Bolle Spider https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000MGSK36/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_LW1lBbGQTM4PV We use them bolle type in work and they are very good. Even the prescription type for blind people like me are comfortable to wear all day.
SteamyTea
Just remembered these. Great when body parts start flying off you. Good for plastering too, @Onoff has some
