lizzie
Anyone used temporary paper window blinds? I’m not going to get sorted with my blinds for a month or two and whilst I’m not bothered about privacy I dont really want to be woken up at the crack of dawn with daylight blazing in. I saw ‘blinds in a box’ advertised, instant stick up paper blinds and a blackout version available too. £48 for 6 and if they work sound worth a try. Any reviews? Dreadnaught
Eye mask? Had the issue myself a few years ago. Was an easterly facing window too.

nod
They look really good I think we will give them a try Save rushing into getting blinds while we are still painting etc
Triple07
The blinds in a box are apparently the same as the much cheaper ikea schottis blinds, which is £3 for a 100x190 or £5 for same in blackout, have tried the blackout ones on holiday b4 and were a lifesaver! epsilonGreedy
These people do the same in a wider 48" fit http://www.redishade.co.uk If we decide to camp out in a part complete house next winter we might need a few of thes. Are they glued on or some sort of spring loaded fit?

As I understand it there a peel off strip and you stick them up to frame or glass, its reusable and lo tack so no damage to anything. Will let you know if they work! Thanks for the heads up. We got some for our bedroom, allows us time to sort out something more permanent.

Ikea have an online presence now too for some products and in specific areas in case it’s helpful to anyone else. They don’t deliver to me however.
