, I need the mosaic tile cut to nominally 124.83mm

I thought grout was used to hide any size imperfections?

why not simply buy actual mosaic tiles stuck to a flexible backing sheet? Save all that expensive water cutting?

Bear in mind I think these are in the back of the pockets anyway they will be hidden by various female hair potions within a day, it’s not like they will be seen ....

There are lines of them down the wall too. Even so I still don’t see what the stress is about.

I think he has already ?

Think these are the standard sized tiles that look like mosaics aren’t they? White grouting was mentioned so I assumed so.

The "mosaics" are indeed one big tile 400x250. They're a solid tile not on a flexible mat.

I want to cut them at nom 125mm as shown:

I want to preserve the pseudo grout line that ends at 125mm. That will butt up to the tile trim around the window. Remember these are cheap ceramics, that grout line is just a thin glaze. Worried that scribing and snapping and it'd shell up that edge exposing the brown substrate of the tile. I could wet cut but the line won'd be straight. A third option is the 255mm diamond blade in the Evolution Rage 3 chop saw. I don't think though you are meant to use the slide action when cutting tile though.....

Just realised I need to cut these at nom 120mm! The mosaic strip needs a "real" grout line either side there.

This type off tile drill WITHOUT a pilot drill:

Bought to drill the tile that fits  over the shower mixer. I assume I need to make up a timber template and gently clamp it to the tile? This to stop it wandering.

Cheers.

funny how every flat surface gathers crap - window sill looks as if it would struggle to accommodate a beer glass even - is that the real purpose of the bath cover?

Going to finish the floor tiles on one (of 3) bathroom floor tomorrow night after work - I hate tiling but this ones seems to be going OK as far as I am concerned - catching up with you  @Onoff!

You'll have done all three before I've even started, just can't get it together.

relax son, looks good so far.  I don't think I will be done before you will be!  Got a few outdoor jobs to do - winters drawing in so can't leave them later so tiling will need to take 2nd place.  Will grout floor next weekend & might start wall tiling.....
