Crofter Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I used loads of this stuff during the build, and I'm going to need some again soon. Neither Screwfix nor Toolstation seem to stock it any more. Checked B&Q and no joy there either. AFAIK the stuff can't be posted (even though ordinary expanding foam can). Any suggestions for where I can get some?
Beau Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago The stuff made for bonding doesn't expand much like Sudal plasterboard adhesive?
Gone West Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Yesterday, I bought some Soudal low expansion foam from Toolstation, for sealing around windows and doors. https://www.toolstation.com/soudal-flexible-expanding-foam/p69089

It was my goto for round doors and windows but Illbrück FM330 is far superior. It skins up so much more rubbery and flexible I just feel more confident of it than the Soudal stuff. LaChab Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I'm using this stuf to bond wooden battens onto PIR and concrete. Seems to work really well. Possibly cheaper from elsewhere.... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08NK8CHJV?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1
Russell griffiths Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Just buy a box of 12 illbruck fm330 once you have used it you will never buy anything else. box quantity gets the price to below toolstation rubbish. 1

And the current iteration of Snibbo ? Being more specific: I need to change the failed mastic to a shower tray. Something that stays white, doesn't get mouldy and stays sealed. If it can be easy to handle for this amateur then that's a big plus.

If it can be easy to handle for this amateur then that's a big plus. Rip it all out seal and any gaps with clear CT1 as the waterproof element then dressed flush with a Fugi Cramer tool kit. Apply a cosmetic bead of Forever White. Have an open black bin bag at the ready and a couple of packs of the cheapest, unscented baby wipes. As you get too much silicone on the tool take it off with a baby wipes and drop into the bin bag. 1
