Chris HB Posted Wednesday at 18:59 Posted Wednesday at 18:59 (edited) The internet seems to throw up a lot of options for Velux window suppliers. Are there any particular ones that people might recommend? I’m after some low-profile PK08 1400x800 Quantity; 2x top-opening escape low-profile windows with blind kits 2x top-opening escape low-profile windows, no blinds All with low-profile flashing kits for slate roofsI Internal finish: White Polyurethane Finish Edited Wednesday at 19:00 by Chris HB
Bonner Posted Wednesday at 19:33 Posted Wednesday at 19:33 Doesn’t matter where you buy them from, more important is who fits them. It’s just a case of trawling the net to find the best price, delivered, which maybe a significant factor where you are! Might be worth ringing your builder merchants as well as their best prices won’t be on the web. 1
Alan Ambrose Posted Thursday at 02:09 Posted Thursday at 02:09 Yeah, there won’t be much variation in price and they’ll probably be shipped direct from Velux (or to local merchants and then they’ll deliver locally). In our case a local merchant was equal price and delivery was free. 1
bmj1 Posted Thursday at 07:09 Posted Thursday at 07:09 We found massive variation in price when ordering our flat roof velux roof lights a few years ago. Best prices came from online suppliers. You need to call to get a quote when making a bulk order. 1
Super_Paulie Posted Thursday at 09:31 Posted Thursday at 09:31 i got my velux integras from Roof Giant. Seemed to be the best price after many hours trawling the interweb. 1
Dunc Posted Thursday at 09:44 Posted Thursday at 09:44 I had a consultation/planning session with Velux directly (its a free service) and they produced a detailed quote including all part numbers for the various insulation and flashing kits as well as links to installation instructions. The list price was eye watering and they advised me to take the quote to my preferred supplier who would offer discount it. My local builders merchant beat all the internet prices by a good margin. 1
Chris HB Posted Thursday at 11:33 Author Posted Thursday at 11:33 Thanks, people, I’ve contacted a couple of builders' merchants and will also look at https://www.roofingsuperstore.co.uk/ to see how things stack up?
torre Posted Thursday at 14:13 Posted Thursday at 14:13 You might want to ask the builders merchants for a price on the Keylite equivalent, probably quite a bit cheaper and still good quality.
MikeGrahamT21 Posted Thursday at 17:00 Posted Thursday at 17:00 Roof Giant was who I used and had best prices. They all order direct from Velux so delivery wise it’s no different. Get the blinds from elsewhere though, others sell them at a huge discount
Alan Ambrose Posted Thursday at 17:17 Posted Thursday at 17:17 BTW if you've bought electric Veluxes over the last few years, there's a free app control kit going: Get a Free VELUX App Control and Extended Guarantee
Johnnyt Posted Thursday at 18:19 Posted Thursday at 18:19 Yarddirect. Negotiable on price if order sizable got the electric hub thrown in too. Helps if you order blinds too

Second this. Prefinished premium conservation automated triple Keylite via Huws Gray was less than 1/3 my quoted Velux equivalent…
