The discount code still works. Not impressed by a £24 delivery charge for 10 rolls of tape, so cancelled the order. Any suggestions when to buy air tightness tape without ridiculous delivery charges ?
PeterW Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 What tape did you order..?? I had 10 rolls of tape at around 100mm or so and it was £12 delivery. Still the cheapest by a long way.

Tescon is 30m so only 6p a metre more, can you claim the vat back from the ebay purchase? I hope the 15% discount code is still working, need another 20 rolls.

Can you plaster over the split tape (the green stuff) or do you have to use a different tape? @Declan52 you probably can advise also
PeterW Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Plaster or board and plaster..? Plastering direct needs the "fluffy" tape that has the fibre backing. For boards we have just bonded the boards in the reveals to to the exposed inner block and screwed to the cavity closer with DryFix FR behind the boards and they are solid.

It would be similar to what old type scrim cloth was. Yeah I was annoyed by that too, i even rung them about it and they claimed thats how much it costs them, needless to say I didn't order via them. I got it from these... http://munsterhrv.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=123 The other brand i've used is airstop (https://www.airstop.co.uk/airstop-tapes-c1775), both products seems to do the job well, if anything the airstop stuff is even more sticky but doesn't seem quite as thick.
