Just wondered if anyone has used TK Stairs? https://www.tkstairs.com/stair-designer

Three quotes back (one local co, Pear Stairs and TK) and TK is a good 25% cheaper than the rest for an identical specification.

Quote service was also efficient and friendly.

No. I might see where they come out. They claim to deliver in their own vehicles.

I just priced mine with TKStairs and it's about £150 more than Pears Stairs .... have you included all the balustrades etc..?

Our design is such that we don't have balustrades as it's sandwiched between walls. I'll need a handrail and a small glass return at the top but I haven't priced that yet.

I did a design on line with TKStairs and was impressed with their design tool, yet to get other prices so watch this space.

I used TKstairs for my design

they have come in a lot cheaper than others including glass and in all oak.

I can confirm stairbox do deliver in their own Mercedes Sprinter vans. Single man delivery though and mine was a bit of a jobsworth so I’d make sure you’d got a couple of mates on ha d for delivery day.

Stair Box are out of the running. They can't produce any wider than 995mm and my requirement is 1060mm.

We used a local joiner, not much more than stairbox and a lot more control. Circa 9k or so. But it does have two winders and something like 16 newal posts and 20odd metres of 10mm glass. 

The advantage is in talking it through with the guys making it in the space to get it bob on.

We're very similar to you then. And about to order in next few days!

Well TK stairs are at least £100 more than stair box for me, and I can't get their on line design tool not to put a stair on our 180 degree half landing.

My stairs arrived from TK in just over a week from order, delivered using their own transport.

Very impressed with the quality. Exactly as ordered and fitted in half a day.
