That’s an expensive way of buying it, my shed was 10ft x 20ft and I think I used nearly 1.5 ton of gravel

can you get a 700kg bag delivered from a BM

Ah I may have underestimated how much I need.

Yes buy a big bag. They will sling it over your hedge etc too.Cheaper yet is to go along with a trailer, then you aren't paying for the single use big bag.

Ha they won’t sling it over the edge, site in the garden is 150ft from the road!!

Ah yeah that’s a problem

I did barrow mine a fair way, doesn’t take long, I recently moved 4 ton of sand by barrow and shovel

Yeah I’ve done much more in the past - shifted 35 tonnes of soil in lockdown to prep the patio area!

Well I’m almost there. Jesus Christ levelling is an utterly tortuous task!

You need to grow a hairy pair .

Nothing to do with the graft, it’s just (expletive deleted)ing time consuming and tedious. I enjoy the workout element!

Coming up married for 31 years. I love shifting tonnes of soil, by hand, from A to B. I'll often shift it back to A just to keep out of the house...

Do you fancy a visit to London? I have 700kg of gravel to move.
