December 24, 20223 yr A 9kW electric fire connected via a 13a plug, but nobody could tell it was burning the wall socket out due to the 60-100 fags a day my parents got through. No wonder I can’t bloody smell or taste anything these days.
December 25, 20223 yr Gas fire to suplement the poor central heating in a cold uninsulated house meaning sometimes it was the only room that was warm. A valve radio and a gramophone. Carpet on the floor that nearly fitted the room. A 100W light bulb.
