Quote from our builder ...

I would allow 3 hours per m2 for medium format tiles + £11.00 per m2 for Adhesive, spacers and tooling, therefore our rate to install 1 m2 of tiles excluding the supply of tiles and trims would be £101.00”

You would be shocked at what I get for commercial tiling and have to pay someone to do it Then wait 60 days for payment

Here's chapter and verse on ours:

labour.JPG.ca5dfe0cf21128164c0fd1276ab46142.JPG

Exactly half way between the top and bottom hourly trade (not professional fee)  rate we have been charged in the last four years.

And the man is a magician: two speeds, dead slow and stop,  but does what he says he will do, reliable, arrives at 10 to 8 and leaves at 6ish. And sticks to his price.

Gold dust.

With us it seems to be about £35 m2 for a good tiler.

To give you an idea

We would look to lay 20m2 per man per day basic

It is the word 'gladly' that stopped me giving you the job.

Only a knee injury stopped me from joining the royal ballet school but I kept all my outfits for sentimental  reasons. Lack of balance, grace and poise didn't help either to be fair.
