What options have i got for sealing up a internal (fire) door between the garage and house to cut draught.

draught proof strip around the frame?

The reality is if the rest of the house is air tight and sealed you won't get much draught.  In a well sealed house you can open one door or one window and you won't get a draught.

Was hoping for a bit more than that as that's what we have on existing house and it's not great (hadn't considered the air tight side)

Would a self closing hinge with a strong closing pull help create a better seal?

Do you mean the the garage door for the car, we have a lot of air vents in there so sealing the big door is s bit pointless plus there is a log gasification boiler in there (need ventilation for combustion).

Our door to the attached garage is a plain white upvc fire door - it looks good and seals very well - I believe its what they fit as front doors in blocks of flats.
