Presumably you can edit your post and take it out?

Yep, but I may leave it as it adds colour and this thread explains - if @PeterW is baffled then we may need it as evidence.

I did ask the tiler no to cut a hole there.

They're like kids.

You: Don't do that

Also you 2 seconds later, watching the kid (expletive deleted)ing do that: FFS...

Like when you tell your wife those 3 little words. On any given day I never know whether it will be WTF? or FFS.

If it's ever I love you, you've probably been drinking.

That's a long time to hold it in - constipation or what.

But what a monumental relief ( release ?! ) it would be . Personally ( though I’ll do my own tiling ) - I’d get the tiler back and tell him to fix it before I hit his skull with a tile . Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind .

I can tell ya, mates have been cuing up to use the toilet flush system : we have two Geberit Tuma Classics - it's the tiny bit of cold water that wakes you up , instantly followed by perfect temperature water - 50 seconds of pure delight

Whilst I would only ever do my own tiling, next time I'll use a levelling/spacing system. Still, the dimmer switch and pretty lights detract from my tiling errors.

Our tiler says that now, he only ever uses a levelling system.  For one thing it speeds up his workflow.

Notice I didn’t comment on your dodgy tiling or uneven grouting . ?
