Any recommendation on good timber frame suppliers please

To varied a question really. 

Are you looking for a cheap frame to meet building regs? Or a very good design with thick walls to passive house standards. 

You can get a very cheap frame that the mass house builders use, and then try and upgrade it, or go for the best your budget allows.

Welcome - you may wish to have a read through this thread as various suppliers are mentioned.

We used Scandal Hus and had them build to our bespoke design rather than one of their 'standard' kits. They'll do pretty much anything from manufacture and erect the frame to a full turnkey solution. Not the cheapest but we were very pleased with their service.

I think we should start up a TF house factory.  There is enough community knowledge and way too much free time.

There is a company called Frame down here, not sure if they do one offs now though.

 thats the first mistake --cost alot more for property and staff  -- unless you going to fund it

One of the cheapest places in England, staff costs are the same, why we have minimum wage.

Boris will fund it, he has already said so.
