Some pull cords are louder. Depends on the substrate and surrounding wall finishes with these switches.

Too loud? Amazing....I never noticed the difference in our living area switches - barely discernible click - to those in the bedrooms with a louder click. Jeremy Harris
Perhaps not wholly on-topic, but I replaced our MK bathroom pull switches (which made a really loud click - enough to wake the dead) with these Contactum ones, which are a great deal quieter: https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/CM2781.html
Onoff
The switch next to the bath is going to sound louder and more "tinny" I guess as it's echoing off of the tiles. This is the switch fitted to the pb as you walk into the bathroom: VID_20190728_143620273.mp4 VID_20190728_143620273.mp4 Edited July 28, 2019 by Onoff
oldkettle
Actually, it also depends on your mobile mic sensitivity and position - it is quite close. Hopefully, the sound can't be heard outside of the room.

wozza
Have a look at Lutron Pico, I got a couple of switches and a dimmer as a test - I will be using them. Aurora Aone also looks good.
Nickfromwales
Cables are cheap, and reliable, with no moving parts If it’s a new install, cables every day of the week. Reto fit / upgrade, then quinetic switches are the mutts nuts. Very reliable.
