I’m planning to have all my ‘plant’ in the detached garage and ducted to the house maybe 6m away. From asking around that’s fine using ducts and the correct insulated pipe work.

the insulated ones should have a mesh embedded slap above- which I’ll put the underfloor in and power float before erecting the timber frame

It’s about that at wickes inc vat. Learned this week - the USA aren’t buying our ply or osb it’s lack of production by norbord and egger. timber won’t be going down significantly in price.

isover 140mm frame roll 32 is £13m2 inc vat today. can cavity dritherm be used in a timber frame? I don’t know tbh.

yep that’s how I’m looking. Frametherm 140mm has gone through the roof- im now trying to work around that

Travis are raising prices on sawn timber 25% and planed 50% or something crazy on Monday. I wasn’t listening properly in shock- they’re not honouring the price on deliveries booked for next week either.
