Decided to finally connect the AAV pipework . Wasn’t brave enough ( stupid enough ) to use floplast , so tiger seal to give me time . Couldn’t get the coupler in so cut it and tiger sealed it in .

So ‘skim’ tile adhesive over gaps and marine ply to make a nice level surface ?
-
Did you get your misses to pose for that photo ? . You’ve given me some dangerous ideas !!

Will be installing this soon . As some of my floor is screed and some marine ply do I just apply the mat across both ? . As you can see there are a few gaps and the marine ply is a few mm lower than the screed . What should I fill the gaps with ? Should I ignore the slight height differences across the different floor materials and just lay the de coupling mat straight across ? thanks in advance!

Do you need some walk on glazing perhaps ?
-
Have your check Delta easy to work with

Not sure what to do with feeds for taps . Guess that will do and ultimately fit to taps with flexi pipe . Think I might shorten them a bit , almost had my eye out a few times .

I won’t respond .... ??

It is me isn’t it ! Can you believe it ! My builders merchants just called me !! Said they plan to open Thursday next week . Though only 3 in the store at a time . I asked him what stock was like , he said not great . I hope everyone is happy that I’ve bought expensive timber and all your BM’s will be open !
-
Timber shortages . Found some but delivery not until next week . Not nice but a combo of steel and marine ply ( both which I have )
-
Yeah . That’s for about £70 ‘s worth of timber . Will over order to about 100 quids worth -delivery £50 . I’ll just do it . Will recoup the extra delivery cost when I sell my walk on glazing ?
-
£42 delivery ? Still ! What else can I do , except order !
-
Just called them Have timber and will deliver !! Apparently have to wait for their website to be updated today or tomorrow to allow this . I did ask about stock levels , she said good !
-
‘Dug up’ some metal stud - will use and mix with what timber I have for additional strength where required

No , your retirement is helping finish my eternal project. You know you want to secretly!
-
I don’t . Do you have one ? ( and yes I’m being serious )
-
Ok , I can’t find any timber left on my site ( cls or similar for stud ) Wickes have some but no delivery - can’t collect in a smart car ! Looked online - but struggling to find any suppliers operating and with national delivery . Anyone found a source ??
-
Yeah ; I thought of this - certainly would be cheaper . Other issue was I have to do something similar at the other end I.e connecting to shower head - stem then wall plate . Parts ordered now . Whilst I’ve been trying to avoid joints think I’ll have to in order to get the water in pipes to connect to thermostatic valve - 90 degree tees I guess . No way they are going to bend that tight ( nor do I want to try ! )
-
I did sorry , yes . Shower is female . Didn’t know you could do this with Hep2o , guess it saves having 22mm pipe and inserts to join it all together !
-
So this to the shower https://www.screwfix.com/p/hep2o-plastic-push-fit-adapting-male-coupler-22mm-x/5653f Then the 1st stem will simply push fit into this ( at 22mm ) . Leaving me a standard 15mm Hep2o connection ?
-
So the 1st ‘stem’ one you link is just a reducer then ? So I’ll still need some 22mm pipe and inserts ?
-
It’s for a thermostatic shower . I’ve quickly looked at a ‘stem’ fittings don’t get how that works / fits . ?
