  1. Mapei also say 2mm ok with their product . Guess I’d need not worry ?
  2. Though BAL do suggest 2mm grout line is fine with their product ...
  3. Reading online it suggests 3mm min grout width for floors . Watched the rubi delta levelling system ( which I used on my walls with 2mm spacers ) - in the vid the floors done with the white clips - which are only 1mm . So I’m asking am I ok with 2mm for the floor ??? .
  4. Alcatraz ?
  5. I put the clip ready for the next day .
  6. Nose full of dust but I think that’s about as good as I can get it ( or tolerate )
  7. Only got 1 carbide blade it would seem . Horse shoe shape - so not the best fitting . Coming off though slowly
  8. I’ve chiselled the chunky parts off now will try the tool ! ?
  9. Right @Mr Punter I’ve got the offending tile off . But I do know from experience getting the adhesive off will just destroy the delta board . What’s the best option here ? ( spoil sport ! )
  10. You (expletive deleted)ers ! Talk about shooting me down in flames ! It was a test so I can start tiling the floor I.e pipework I can never get to is leak free . Tiles missing on wall because I ran out - currently on order @Mr Punter you are indeed correct - they don’t give you a lot of room for the inlet - need to replace that tile - thought I checked it but perhaps not ! Cable is a cat5 for bathroom iPad obviously ?
  11. Super happy today ! With SWMBO’s smaller hands and greater flexibility plumbed the bath waste in ! . Lowered it - filled it - let it drain . No leaks ??
  12. I stand corrected ! . ST version the best though ?

  19. Just for the record ANYONE can come and visit. Though I'll add a caveat that certain members would be less welcome than others. I'm sure you lot can work out if you are in the 'like' group or the 'murder' group ???
  20. Are you saying I’m a grumpy , warty old git living in a slum ?
  21. You got me ! Lol ! There’s a continuous layer outside left and right sides ? It does ‘continue’ front and back but due to the cladding had to have studs . If we didn’t have the cladding it would of fully wrapped around all 4 external walls . I forget the make up of my own build until someone prods me ! ?
  22. Oh and pir internally in all stud walls
  23. Depends ! Architect made it different in different sides . Side are just rendered Thermalite with a cavity tied through the pir to the timber frame . Front and rear are vertical studs with pir in between. Then horizontal stud with pir in between. Then vertical studs with no pir to allow air flow . Render board type cladding fixed to that .
  24. I know ! I don’t drink tea nor coffee . Just water and wine .
