But our economy has grown by being in the EU ; cheap Labour , London’s access to EU financial markets etc etc Equally the EU doesn’t ‘get’ what the U.K. wants . The only phrase left to chirp is ‘ sovereignty ‘ . Not sure exactly what that is . Will the US or China roll over for us - no . Far bigger economies than ours . Unfortunately we were part of the largest trading block on the planet . Whilst you can argue quite reasonably about dumb EU rules on bananas and fishing etc. - the bigger picture is what we need to look at . Public were largely sold a lie - now government has to deliver some half baked mess that makes no one happy . Sensible hat off - screw up some pipework hat on .

Ok. So you are suggesting the U trap is fixed to the floor somehow? Not sure how I can manage that.... Sealant around bath base to prevent water running into the hole I created sounds good.

Absolutely. With bath propped on timbers I’ll connect it then and lower it .

I’ll get SWMBO to help me place the bath and I’ll connect the trap on the weekend . Then draw around the baths perimeter to make sure all good . Then water test . Will glue all that tomorrow.

Not glued anything but I assume the mandolorian would say “ This is the way “ . So I need to leave a gap in my floor/tiling under the bath big enough for me to get my hand in there . Though I think I would fix this first then fit the trap to bath when in situ

I did extensive research on stud detectors . My scientific and technical conclusion was they are all shit .

Cheap as chips ! I have no loyalty to any particular operator so would want one that deals with all major networks . But what about 5g ? Or is it to early to get a booster for that ( or even necessary) - I don’t have 5g in my area yet - just thinking ahead .
