  1. Of course if bleeding the rads is the issue ( or a contributing factor ) he might then need to top it up via the refill loop ... dare we open Pandora’s box 2 ? Can’t we have more unrelated door stuff - that seemed to be moving in the right direction
  2. Don’t know . I’m a C programmer and that appears to be its ‘default’ language . So it appeals too me massively
  3. It’s out ! For less than 4 quid . Though I think a zero has more uses . Still - disposable computing !!
  4. Makes you wonder doesn’t it . I’ll leave that experiment to someone else though
  5. Yeah I get you improvised - I was just following the destructions . Will double double check tomorrow...
  6. Pretty sure mines the same . I am correct the plastic sleeves are just protection yes ? They don’t stay on for install ? ( though they do make the bolt more rigid )
  7. You sure ??? The instructions don’t show this and I don’t remember seeing it with all the parts . But will double check tomorrow!!!
  8. Not sure exactly what you mean ? Those thread bars just screw in - no lock nut or nothing . Geberit confirmed they wobble a few mm ....
  9. Now though we must all wait as @zoothorn bleeds the rads ..... Not argue . Not complain . But does it ..... suspense !!! ?
  10. If it’s 53 pages to just bleed rads I’m going to go ape sh*t
  11. I said this many many pages ago ! Just open the rad valve and see if water or air comes out
  12. Yeah - I’m the new boy with new things !
  13. Inflation the 8th wonder of the world will save us . How else can all that mega debt be paid ( effectively reduced .... ) . We’ve been here before
  14. Too be fair I am schizo No I’m not !!! Yes you bloody are !!
  15. Hmmmm @Big Jimbo be careful toss pot council might see it as living accommodation .They made me remove a bathroom and cooking facilities from an out building to prevent me renting it . Assuming you have no cooking facilities they could argue a fridge and microwave could be easily put in there . Of course all of this depends on how nice / nosey your neighbors are ...
  16. Very nice !

    Ah bum !

Yes good advice . So now you can see what a bargain mine is - when are you paying ??
  18. I happen to turn the radio off whilst I was standing next to the ufh manifold . Made a short gushing noise - like it was taking on water ; this correct ? . I assumed it would be like a conventional gas boiler and rads I.e just the same water circulating ... As it was quiet it’s the 1st time I’ve heard it . Wasn’t the pump - that stayed at the same speed . Just wondering ....

    Ah bum !

Fair comment . How about 400 with no walk on glazing ?
  21. It is done ! I still reckon it will move a bit . But once the ct1 has gone off I guess it will be fine . I’m going to blame the textured tiles causing the issue . 2mm packer in plastic wedged in the back underneath When I remove it though I reckon the pan might drop ... Remove it when ct1 cured ; then put back in ?
  22. Geberit confirm they wobble !!! ??
  23. Geberit one is just a threaded rod - that’s it . Part of the reason the pan can wobble because they can wobble a bit . Currently in geberit phone queue . “ Your position is 2 “ - relevant for a wc supplier I guess .

    Ah bum !

You can buy mine for 500 quid .
  25. I’ll call geberit and double check !!!
