Quick phone call to Merlyn ; apparently the seal is around 15mm for the edge ! . Guess I’d better find it !! ?
-
Confused ! The sliding door stops are in the rail - their position can’t be adjusted . Closing the door causes this gap due to the top door stop ?
-
These are hard to install on your own ! Also I’m about 1mm out and it causes issues !!! . No one will notice of course ! apart from you gits because I’ve said so ?

What a complete &@&&& Panels bitch heavy . Have to cut the top of the fitting to gain 1mm Did it dry . Been gently tapping it in with a rubber hammer . No way am I taking it out . So no ct1 under this horizontal edge . It would just push up and cause more of an issue . Will ct1 then silicone the inside bottom edge once all done . A complete bitch !!

See now that's why I need a video doorbell with 2 way audio. So I can tell her to (expletive deleted) RIGHT OFF!
-
That's sexist and against forum rules. I'm rather shocked and offended by your blatant disregard for the female form. Send her round

Many many ways! I can open motorised locked via HA ( app or web based ) . Currently door has finger scanner ( though it's broken at the moment!! ) When working! - triggers a relay that homeseer can detect which in turn triggers a fibaro relay on the lock The unifi access reader pro does sound promising. But as you said some 'features ' don't exist yet. The thing that hacks me ( like ring ) is the subscription and also the video/audio isn't accessible too me i.e. propariatory . Doorbird stuff is accessible. Therefore integrates with blue iris which in turn integrates with Homeseer. Though it's way to expensive for a bloody video doorbell - I *think* door bird is the way to go - tempted to push the button on a purchase! ( did also look at arlo, arcrest etc. etc. )

I can deal with the door lock mech via HA. Looking again at Doorbird. Seems the best off the bunch but at a cost!

I see so it’s a Wi-Fi link to its storage box . Hmmmm - that’s a bit pants

What do you mean by this ? I know you stick and SD card in it . I’m hoping it’s just seen as an ip camera so I can access RTSP or http feeds
-
Do you mean when you are not at home ? . I guess I’m asking when you are at the actual property are notifications etc . Faster ? - or does it make no difference as all cloud based ?
