  1. Actually; I forgot - SWMBO is WfH - so we will start emptying batteries far quicker than I imagine 😁
  2. So much for ā€œ poor PV generation ā€œ today . Everything’s 100% full and exporting . I’ll wait until later until PV is low . Then charge EV .
  3. I just wanted to say yes so that I felt useful .
  4. No idea ! First thing is PW and SE charge from grid simultaneously ( no EV charging ) . I’m emptying my PW and SE deliberately into my EV to force them to charge from the grid . I would assume EV charging is simply seen as a load to PW and SE like everything else …..
  5. Yes
  6. FAKO = (expletive deleted)ing Awful (C/K)rap (from) Overseas
  7. I have the official real mc coy . You have to be careful as even when fully clipped a wire can occasionally pull out ! . I use on mains and stuff because I’ve got big nuts and ain’t afraid of dying . You bought cheap sub standard shite so you deserve an electric shock . Enjoy ( it’s a slow night for me so need to post any crap )
  8. That’s a number 1
  9. Wonder what the lighting is for a number 3 …..
  10. Thanks - will check it out later
  11. Address please ?
  12. Tomorrow night could be the day ! EV sufficiently low . PV generation for tomorrow looks low . So ! Late in the afternoon empty PW into EV . Keep going then PW will pull from SE and drag that down . Then set SE to charge at off peak …. then wait !!

  14. It’s all getting to complicated all this talk . So I’ll just stick with
  15. Patience guys ! . I’m driving my EV everywhere so I can flatten it
  16. I did think this ! . Not about showering in the night ; that’s a given ! . What happens when either is 100% full ? - does it act differently/ change modes . Fun and games in the multi verse !
  17. This installer didn’t install the PW so assume CT clamps etc. in that are ā€œ as is ā€œ . Would you like to place a guess on what will happen when both go to charge off peak from the grid ??
  18. Don’t know will look . As it just doesn’t take regardless then effectively it can maybe distinguish between PV and power source ( as such )
  19. @Radian a question for you . Why doesn’t the PW just take from the SE when it’s <100% ? What I mean is the PW sees the SE as solar ( regardless of whether it’s PV or SE ) . So say PV production is low today ( real sunshine PV ) and PW is <100% . Why doesn’t PW just drain SE until it’s full ? I.e it’s just PV to it after all …. The answer doesn’t matter ! 😁 - I’m just curious !!
  20. Exactly ! This I have achieved ! The issue is when they both are set to charge from the grid . I’m hoping the PW won’t ā€˜see’ the SE as SE will be set to charge . Therefore PW will charge from grid . No idea if that will happen ! Frustratingly there’s so much solar I can’t empty the buggers to force a charge at off peak ( caveat being PW will ā€˜decide’ whether it charges or not ) . Both charging at the same time is my test for winter mode I.e no PV . Best find out now not later ….
  21. Do it and be damned Research as you go , learn as you go . Takes for ever . But what’s the point of life without any challenges ?? šŸ™„šŸ˜
  22. 😁 they said the same about underground housing …..
  23. I’ve said it before I’ll say it again ….. If it was easy everyone would do it !
  24. Lol ! Bit of a head f isn’t it ! imagine the fun I have when SE says there’s 6kw of solar at 5am ! PW says house load at 4kwh when it isn’t . PW says PV at 3kwh when there’s no solar because it’s draining the SE . The list goes on 😁
  25. Yes . Whole house off pv and off grid. PW was there long before current installer ( sorry probably should of made that clear ) so SE is an add on . I’ll get it to work ! -
