  1. You got no perimeter drain ? Uvc overflow could just go into a simple pump to drain …
  2. Not critical - I’ve lagged the external hep20 but can’t see a reasonable way to lag the fittings ( primarily 90 degree tees ) . Looked online - nothing obvious springs up . These fittings are visible so prefer a neat solution . Yes ; I know - if they weren’t visible I would do whatever .
  3. You heard correctly
  4. Easier than hanging a door 😁
  5. Sounds like a plan
  6. It will genuinely be an extension lead to start with 😎
  7. I know you want me to do the joinery myself . So you can post “ try a sharp chisel “ , “ did you hold the wrong end of the hammer “ , “ did you close your eyes rebating that hinge “ etc. etc. etc. Not doing it !
  8. No guys ! . Have you not learnt ! . It requires skill and time . Me not do . Me want easy option . Me want less work not more .
  9. Excellent. I take that as a “ go purchase and be damned “ .
  10. Yes . Because my joinery skills are shit 😁 . I know I could buy cheap doors and get a joiner to install . Much prefer I feck it up myself and then fix .
  11. Anyone installed one ?? https://www.plumbworld.co.uk/sanicompact-back-to-wall-510-29418?utm_source=organic&utm_medium=shoppingfeed&utm_campaign=googlebase&gclid=CjwKCAjw1ICZBhAzEiwAFfvFhBqUd8V-ad6mW5XXmaEblDJhiAypQ7lIGCOfoX28zCt9tUXz2FiO7xoCITEQAvD_BwE
  12. Used deuren before . Excellent but not cheap . Have 2 doorways below ground ; just a wc and my mission control cupboard . So not fussed about looks etc . Just want cheap ( cheap for a pre hung door anyway ) . Recommendations ??
  13. I was going to visit @Onoff soon . This is where he lives yes ?
  14. As dumb as it sounds can you not boom pump over your neighbours house 😁 .
  15. Just insist ( in writing ) that you are given full installer access once installed . Asking installer to change ToU will be a ball ache . I fiddle with mine a lot - that’s mainly to make it play fair with the PowerWall
  16. An update I was able to let the PW drain down . As expected it went to the grid . I quickly altered SE to ‘ maximise export ‘ . PW then saw it as solar so charged from that . So this is the method I’ll use to let PW take from SE . One issue is if PW is 100% and SE is still ‘ maximise export ‘ then obviously it really does export - which I don’t want . As the weather changes it won’t be too long before I do the final test of both charging from grid . Looking back at a previous post I can see I’ve already tested this 🤣👍
  17. SE have been on about adding TOU to the app for ages but haven’t . Once you get installer access it is easier - but app based would be far simpler
  18. Ubiquiti ( spell check ! 😑 ) mesh hubs are really good . 2 of those in an average size house should easily give you good WiFi coverage throughout .
  19. We were both left it as part of our inheritance!
  20. Funnily enough it’s also my late fathers workbench ! Probably antique.
  21. This is happening!. The plan!. Macerator at WC ( no bitching about that ). Outlet's to about 1 metre high. Then a horizontal run with fall for about 14 metres ( also picking up sink/washer etc. waste ). This then into sump pumping station outside. What I 'improvised' though many years ago was just to deal with rainwater i.e. 2 zoller pumps to deal with rainwater. Question is now how to get a sump in there aswell or 'somehow' that the sump ( possibly a twin pump unit ) deal with rainwater aswell - making the the 2 pumps I have redundant. Suggestions welcome !
  22. Looking online I see some just have a overheat cut out . Presumably therefore they are not adjustable ? Also the price . From 40 quid to 250! I’ll grab some photos Monday before I do anything !
  23. Don’t know . Will look Monday . It’s not been adjusted since install ( over 3 yrs ago )
