Decided to semi ignore you @Nickfromwales . Ordered rubber flange thing but gone with weld for now as it hasn’t turned up yet . Where the waste pipe enters the tank is a rubber flange - so can cope with some movement . Mega size fitting for weld to 110

Did one of these before . They've changed the design and now I’m confused . Got it powered up . Got the fibaro z wave relay linked to the thermostat input correctly I think . Activating it in software I can hear the relay click but no power seems to go to the actuator . Not sure if I’m ment to do something with the “ heat enable “ ….

Basin inlet is on the right of pan, yet my basin must be on the left. It's all a bit too tight for my liking.

Don't like this. It's a tight space so have to jubilee clip short pipes for waste and basin to pan before putting in situ. Assume I have to jubilee the other end before going to weld pipe otherwise if (when!) I need to remove pan I'll be stuffed. Don't like jubilee clips. Don't like visible pipework - but no real choice.

I’ve had jubilee clips on pumps before and over time they’ve come off . I think the movement of the pump ( jolt ) loosens them - though just as much as a weld joint . How about I solvent weld it and put that rubber coupler on ? 😁

The spigot discharge pipe is 52mm solvent weld i.e no thread etc. This is the spec recommended from the sump pump manufacturer.

Being good today; answering my own questions as you lot are rubbish 2" solvent weld pipe off the pump discharge. Connection to 110mm soil pipe is done via a 63mm MDPE to 110mm. But this is no good!. Unadvertised though they can supply a 2" solvent weld to 110mm fitting! Those MDPE 2 water pipe I'll Tee together . Then fit a T on the soil pipe. So sewage discharge goes on the end ( it's an end cap fitting ). MDPE goes into the side. PERFECTION!

Decided to call saniflow.... Pipe at base is for a basin input Clear pipes top left are some sort of air admittance type valve i.e. leave alone Top right pipe is an overflow which in theory should never have anything coming out of it but can. Apparently reducing water pressure can reduce this 'drip' There - so we all learnt something today!

Looking at the instructions for this ( you know the type all piccy's no words) Looking at the back of the macerator there are clear pipes top left and a black pipe ( ducting?) top right - can't see any mention of them in the pic's - what are they for? Also this black pipe which they show somehow fitting to the base ; I don't get it. Water in easy, electrics in easy, waste out to the right easy. What's all this other stuff????
