Yes it works , in a way ! . If the gate it left fully open it will close it . If you deliberately just open it a ‘bit’ the spring doesn’t have enough tension to close it fully and latch . But it’s good enough

Who should come and look at this ? Or do I wait ? ; see if it gets worse ?

Saniflo alarm not adequate
Pocster replied to Pocster's topic in Networks, AV, Security & Automation
Ok ! Almost works in situ The pressure switch is WAY too sensitive. I tried during the tube length it sits in etc - but it triggers when the pump is in normal use . Ordered a less sensitive version -

Not after last time where I shoved it ! 😂 -
It’s not the post . You not read this entire thread yet ? 😂

Nope . It’s not an issue with the roof . Tested as best I can ( assumed a roof issue as the 1st thing ) . The fact I poured Sodium silicate along the paver slot and made a substantial difference does indicate I’m in the right zone .

Yes . Bolted to the wall and goes into the ground . I tested this and couldn’t make it cause a leak I.e water not near it and leaks - did this in an earlier post .
-
Could be for sure . But underneath round the Lightwell where it leaks - it seems to come from the front and to the right I.e towards the gate / roof corner . So if I cement that chunk and bitumen paint I might be successful

It seems to work ( in test mode ) pretty good . So as a final test ; put it under the sink . Turn off pump and let tap run ( I preliminary tried this before and it worked ) . So not expecting any issues . (expletive deleted) you Saniflo for your bullshit crap alarm junk -
Saniflo alarm not adequate

Success ! The alarm box presumably to save power will only audible alarm for 10 seconds . But with the zigbee dry contact input I get HA to get voice assistant to repeat 10 times to annoy and a notification to my phone . -
Oh no ! It’s a @SteamyTea long post that everyone just scrolls by .

Yes . It requires dedication. Skills beyond the average human . Spirit and gumption. All the skills I possess . -
I think you are right . More discoveries are certain . Signs of Inca temples ? . Decomposing bodies of neighbors ? , bag of dodgy VHS tapes ?. We can but speculate

Suck on that Time Team !

Cleared out that section . Ripped up my old concrete as too deep to put pavers back . Fantastic discoveries were an embedded breaker bit and a mysterious piece of timber .

Single SAT dish/multiple receiver setup anyone?
Pocster replied to BotusBuild's topic in Networks, AV, Security & Automation
No no no . Planning for IT / tech stuff is good ! 😊 . But I would drop the dish . Streaming is the way to go . If cables are a problem get a good mesh network . I do this for when I can’t be arsed to fudge another cat5 cable in . Just wire or wifi each tv then an upgrade Netflix / Apple / whatever account for multiple devices . -
