  1. I meant clear ct1 just to make a water tight seal . Plastic beading over the top of that edge to hide it all .
  2. Yeah -10 to 50 is its “ operating range “ . We’ve certainly not been down to -10 .
  3. Yeah I did wonder that . It’s happened every day In December ( so far ) bar 2 nights . Just bugs me to ‘lose’ 2kwh of off peak storage and so end up grabbing it at peak rate . 7.5p off peak to 41p peak . Physco thing I think also .
  4. I’d fill it with clear ct1 . Once that’s gone off silicone some plastic bead on it .
  5. I’d love one for Christmas
  6. A PowerWall I believe has a heating / cooling system built in . My SE battery is outside and it would seem when sub zero it simply won’t charge to 100% - nearer to 75% I could build a ‘shed’ type affair over it but not convinced that will keep it warmer . Maybe a ‘cover ‘ made of osb lined with PIR ? Any other suggestions ?
  7. Ordinary Standard Builder ?
  8. No ! I tried all of them - complete shite . Did a thread on it ; can’t be bothered to link edit : Used the (expletive deleted)ing search function
  9. Yeah @Onoff in one , SWMBO in the other
  10. You can get a new ring . I always worry it won’t be the exact size . So I buy a new fitting entirely as to be certain .
  11. I can beat that ! My in the ground soil pipe 110mm was filling up with 💩. So I rodded it to the next access chamber . What came out was a round head disc used on a rodding fixing !!!
  12. Sure . I *assumed* it was visible . Still want to zip tie it though . If it’s a long pipe and gets pushed out the waste pipe it’s going to be messy .
  13. Could just loop the excess pipe behind washer and zip tie again . Then it’s not cut nor visible . Depends on bravery skills 😁
  14. I think the problem is the WM waste pipe is too long . Even fully inserted in the waste pipe @zoothorn will have a big loop of waste pipe hanging out . It probably won’t make much difference tbh I.e washer will still pump it out ; but looks crap .
  15. Yeah - you can’t tell if it’s blocked . Stick mr muscle down there ; wait 30 minutes and see . Worst case no difference and you’ve wasted 5 quid or so . Much easier ( if it is blocked ) than coat hangers etc. and faffing around .
  16. Big loop is bad . Also once cut if you ever need to extend the waste pipe again you can get couplers etc. to do that . How long is the white wall pipe the WM waste is going into ?
  17. If blocked try a ‘ mr muscle ‘ type drain cleaner product . They produce a foam in the pipe and eat through any organic stuff . In my rentals ; shower gel / soap seem to be a common sink / shower blocker .
  18. I’d cut it ( but not too short ) then zip tie it or similar around the pipe and back to the machine - so it’s got no chance of coming out .
  19. Sorry about that . We got both plumbing sorted 👍
  20. Yeah . I’m not exactly sure where it will go though . Sod’s Law I place it where no noggins are . I like a biggie .
  21. @Onoff decided to re do my ufh pipework etc .
  22. Yeah , I was being sarcastic 🙄😎
  23. Ufh working then ?
  24. Definitely a rip off in my opinion . Every 12 months I just pull all pumps floats up to make sure they work . Clear any debris around the pump and float . Also have a spare pump for those “ just in case “ moments . Been doing that on my rainwater pumps for around 4 yrs - all good .
