4 week wait for a new door 🙄

Been on this all day . Not affecting everyone but my PowerWall can’t go online . Connects to internet but not Tesla servers . Tesla say everything is working - but I think this is fibs . Will wait 48hrs and see .

Yeah that sounds similar to mine. Also if there's a big change the inverter can't 'swap' quick enough so you can see a large amount taken from the grid ( maybe a few Kw ) but just for a few seconds.

Actually the Tesla app now has a ‘ go off grid ‘ option to simulate that . Might try it tomorrow when SWMBO isn’t in https://www.tesla.com/en_gb/support/energy/powerwall/mobile-app/go-off-grid

My hands up of course ! PW with gateway 2 ; should allow off grid . SE doesn’t support it in the U.K. - not sure what that does if the grid disappears….

Yes yes yes . I was just trying to imply people will charge everything they can before an outage . Which in turn increases demand which then causes an outage .

My suspicion with the supposed power cuts is won’t some families simply cook earlier to avoid them ? . Charge the phone etc / EV earlier . Effectively cause a demand spike before the outage .

IMHO there should be 3 continual lengths around the inner frame yes? ( where those stupid bits are ) One of the doors is effectively upside down ( may be possible to remove the head timber and spin it 180 ). But ; not what I would expect . Company have been sent appropriate email. I kicked BT's ass this week so I'm on a roll!
